I was out of deodorant, and the brand I like seems to have discontinued the particular version that I like in the "unscented" variety, so I thought I'd try one of the scented versions.

This morning was my first experience with "Powder Fresh," and it will be my last.  The scent is obnoxious and it is driving me to distraction!   Ugh!!

Good morning!

Beautiful day in the offing here, and I'll be heading out to lunch later to enjoy some of it.

I'm another one who loves BAMBI MEETS GODZILLA.

I also enjoy the Warner cartoons that pair Bugs Bunny & Daffy Duck.

TOD - Ben and Me

As a child I absolutely loved this short, and I still like it a lot. (Current releases on VHS and DVD have altered the ending.)

As an adult I have veered more to DONALD IN MATHMAGICLAND.

I also love Disney's first forays into nature documentaries with the short True-Life Adventures like NATURE'S HALF ACRE, WATER BIRDS, etc. The feature length renditions of this were fabulous, but they started as shorts and are still fun to watch.

MGM did some short filmed adaptations of classic stories. My favorite of those was THE TELL-TALE HEART directed by Jules Dassin and starring the marvelous Joseph Schildkraut.

Today I'll be finishing up the Indy Jones stuff with INDIANA JONES AND THE LAST CRUSADE.

I have CSI: NY and BOSTON LEGAL to watch from last night. I'll likely get to them this evening before prime time TV begins.

And the word of the day is: IMPREST!
Of course these PERMITS are legal!  They bear the IMPREST of the state seal!

Ok, I'll wave, it may be from a long way off. Minneapolis to New York often takes a more northern route

I found out last night that I'm teaching a Kenyan piece to the choir tonight, so I'd best get busy with my phonetic pronounciation guide!

Which one, Singdaw?  I have my church choir regularly do African material.  Of course we have a Liberian family in the congregation so that helps a little.

I used to like animated films very much, but these days I prefer real drama about real people. That said, I was quite impressed with THE TRIPLETS OF BELLEVILLE--very clever, very well done.
