Hello, everyone. I've had a busy day, but a productive one. Really trying to knock more items off my to-do list.

Jeanne, do you ever take a day and just relax?

Good Afternoon!

Well, we had a whopping 62(!?!?!?!?) people show up for today's Disney Cruise Line/Hong Kong Disney OPEN call, so I was done around 2:20 (after starting the session at 1:00).

Right now, I am enjoying the beautiful Spring weather in Bryant Park - along with a whole slew of other New Yorkers and non-New Yorkers - while I wait for my parents bus to pull into Port Authority.

*Oh, and 'wichcraft had Banana Ice Cream today!  -And it sure was tasty topped with candied pecans and toffee sauce.  :)

-And it seems my parents have arrived, so....

Edisaurus, Dee Dee Sharp or whoever doesn't count as the first name is Dee Dee and the last name also has to have a D.

Boxed up the two big orders and realize I have no stock left on Skinner/Ripley, only about 20 copies of The Last Starfighter, and about 50 copies of Simply Sondheim.  Obviously, got to get the Skinner/Ripley repressed pronto - happily we have print on it, so it's just the CDs themselves.

Isn't the Port Authority at 42nd and 8th Ave?  I thought that Bryant Park was a couple blocks from there.

Had a lovely lunch out with perfect weather. Still, it's the first time in 2008 I've worn shorts instead of jeans/long pants.

When I got in I watched Frank Sinatra: A MAN AND HIS MUSIC which I recorded off TCM last night. I didn't buy the special when it was put out on DVD several years ago (I did buy a used copy of THE MAIN EVENT), so I wanted to see it again.

Next I watched a couple of episodes of PSYCH. The first was the one with Shawn being an expert poker player with his ability to read people and their "tells." A really fun episode.

Yes, Bryant Park is over at 42nd and Sixth Ave.  They called me when they pulled into the garage. Thankfully, I made it to the meeting place - a.k.a. Burger King - before they did, so we're eating at the Westway Diner instead.  ;)

*And the Westway has wireless.

Then I watched the season 1 finale of the show, a spooky episode directed by John Landis about a supposed death an a mental hospital that has haunted Shawn and Gus for twenty years. A tiny bit scary and otherwise very funny stuff. The mystery wasn't so great, but the entertainment value of the show was high.

Yes, Port Authority is at 42nd and 8th and Bryant Park is a quick (if you're a New York walker) two blocks away on 42nd and 6th. It goes a good way along 42nd Street (it doesn't quite get to 5th Avenue) in back of the NY Public Library.

Since I had a little time left before I wanted to come upstairs and get on-line, I rewatched the last episode and listened to the commentary track. Very entertaining.

I just read that NBC has pulled MONK and PSYCH reruns from the Sunday schedule. For the rest of the season, they'll be using repeats of their comedy series in back-to-back episodes.
