I finished the evening watching another FUGITIVE episode. This one stars Tim O'Connor in a town which has been quarantined with bubonic plague. There's also a 15 year old girl lusting after Dr. Kimble, and when he rejects her, she looks for revenge on him using her boy friend and her father.

I didn't quite get to the end of it, so I'll finish it tomorrow.

Since there won't be anything on TV for me tomorrow night (unless I change my mind and decide to watch the new miniseries version of THE ANDROMEDA STRAIN), I should be able to finish up with THE FUGITIVE tomorrow.

Thank you, DR Ginny, but I did have to turn the lights, as I discovered halfway down Central Avenue. It was a wonderful dinner, and I had a great time.

The day has been good: a lovely visit with my cousin Sue Ellen and Uncle Bob, and then a very pleasant evening at DR Ginny's. I just got back and Randy and Jo are playing card games with another couple and having what sounds like an excelletn evening as well.

I'm off to bed.

Just played through the entire score of Nudie Musical. Wow, do I have a lot of re-learning to do - and I have a lot of arranging to do on vamps and rideouts and such, on all the movie songs. What we had worked okay in the film, but the stage version needs better arrangements on a few things - some key changes, some bouncier vamps, etc.

I have been home all day, doing nothing but watching TV...mainly the last eight, count 'em EIGHT episodes of "Eli Stone." I had recorded them to my DVD burner because my friend Margo had asked if I would tape them for her. Well, I taped them for myself because I was in a show and didn't have time to watch them. Today, I took the time. I also took the time to edit out the commercials and was able to burn them onto two DVDs for Margo. I could've put all eight episodes onto one disc, but I think that the visual quality wouldn't have been very good. If it had been for myself, I would've put up with it, but since it's for a friend, I figured that it should be watchable.

My sister wants to go to Trader Joe's tomorrow morning! There are two within 45 miles of where we live, so we'll go to one of them. I don't know if they're open (and if they are, how crowded they'll be), but we'll find out soon enough.

Good Evening/Morning!

When I stepped out earlier, I received a text from a friend of mine saying he was heading to DUMBO (Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass) to grab a late dinner. -And since I was heading out for dinner, I decided to join him. Good timing.

We ended up at some really cool Mexican/Spanish place which was more club than restaurant, but the food was amazing. Then we walked around for a bit checking out the other storefronts and restaurants in that 'hood. I will definitely need to head back there during normal business hours - especially to check out Jacques Torres' main Chocolate Shoppe location.

It was the episode where the gang goes to the countryside to investigate some disappearances and they discover that someone...or something...has been skinning and eating people!

It was a very creepy episode.

It turns out that it wasn't something. It was the very human villagers. Every 10 years they would have "the harvest." They'd capture passers-by and eat them...one guy at the end said he did it because it made him happy.
