Oh, I got some beautiful looking strawberries at the store too.   It just occurred to me I have strawberries and rhubarb, I was going to make a rhubarb sauce, maybe I'll make a strawberry rhubarb sauce...

The Weather Channel is indeed Geriatric MTV, as Cilla says - At one point, before I discovered NY1 and CNN, I would keep it on nonstop because I enjoyed their choice of music.  :)

I've shaved and will soon shower, then be on my way to the Wilshire Ebell Theater.  I was told that last night's Brain show was completely sold out and that they did a talk-back with a group of high school students.  I'd asked to be notified of any talk-backs, as I enjoy doing them - needless to say, no one notified me.

I may bring Ye Olde Laptop down to the Ebell, as I'll have time to kill after the soundcheck.

Welcome eight GUESTS.  Any record producers amongst you?  I will say that since I called that certain record producer out, he has disappeared - laying low, I suspect - perhaps back with a new username soon.  I did a search of all his posts at b'wayworld - whenever an album of his (mostly the Annie and Ring of Fire albums) are mentioned he comes in as if he were just a poster and says GREAT RECORDING!!! BEAUTIFULLY PRODUCED AND MIXED!!!  Uh huh.  And if there's no thread, he starts one.

Here's what would have fallen on Richard's car if he hadn't been driving it in Maryland at the time:

Yikes DR JRand...there are numerous giant TV screens all over the hotel and I kept seeing the flooding in Indiana...what a mess! I was wondering if it was in your area...and now I see it was....hope it hasn't destroyed your brand new landscaping!

Thankfully you can stay home and enjoy some Mamie Van Doren....many people in your area do not have that option, you know.

Just had lunch with Laurie and Kenny and had a lovely chat with Claudia Barrett, star of Robot Monster...probably the nices person in the Universe! She brought some of her greeting cards, made from her water color paintings...I  bought two sets...they are just beautiful! And so is she, still.

Also met a very nice, young wanna be actor named Brandon who lives in the area....although he has never been out of Missouri, he has already amassed a pretty nice list of credits for speaking roles in films that were made here...Walk The Line, Harold and Kumar 2, The Pardon, and others, along with commercials and theatre. Super nice kid...only 25 and he is heading out to Hollywood in October.  I am worried that ther Herman Cohen's out there might get hold of him...but maybe I will hook him up with DR Cason, I think they would get a long very nicely.

I think young Brandon will do well out in Californy! He has a great attitude, he is not shy, and he is level headed.... of course he asked me, of all people, how the girls were in Hollywood...I told him he would likely have no problem in that department! LOL!

DR MBarnum, there are two possiblities in this comment:
1.  Brandon's as dumb as a bag of hair
2.  He sees right through you and he's playing it really straight!

You just missed your chance to be a Henry Willson agency, Mikey!

MBarnum - I see from Brandon's online resume that he starred in a school production of STAR WARS.  Did he talk about this, and if so, was it a musical?

I do not want to go to this birthday party tonight! It's too unpleasant to go out again, but I must.

"The Brain" vocal book is finished.

You could have told him that he would have no problem with the women or the men.  Always keep your options open!

FJL, how did you manage to find Brandon's online resume?

Go to imdb.com, look up WALK THE LINE and scroll down till you find an actor named Brandon. His online resume lists the movies DR MBarnum mentioned.
