Jeanne, have you heard anything about a supposedly all-natural sleep product called EZ Doze?

Just went back and corrected my link to the article about ANDY Blankenbuehler.  I blame the drugs.

DR LAURA,

Your latest pics are even more impressive than before. A new camera? Some other change?

Ah, it worked for me earlier - and I'm not on drugs (at the moment).

DR TCB,

No, I haven't heard about EZ DOZE. I know of, and have tried, several sleep products. I find that your body gets used to them after a while and you have to switch. Also, if there's too much on my mind, then nothing helps enough.

Did you try the EZ DOZE?

Yeah, DR TCB, the link was OK, I'd just typed the wrong first name.  I discovered my mistake when I printed out my Tony ballot.

No, not yet.  They offer a free 7-day trial if you pay the $8.00 postage.  The product itself looks rather expensive.  Of course snake oil, at any price, is still snake oil!

Hello, everyone. Introductions often seem so awkward, especially when you are introducing yourself. This is PDXJane, the sister DR JulieC40  often mentions. As they say on AM talk radio, I am sort of a long time listener, first time caller at HHW. A very dear, regrettably departed friend named Dennis Clancy first told me about this place years ago, and I have occasionally lurked here since.  My interest in and involvement in Theatre goes back many more years than I care to admit. And it's nice to know that there are many kindred spirits on this board.

WELCOME PDX JANE!

I wish you had joined us when Dennis encouraged you to, however better late than never. :)

Sunday afternoon greetings!  Last night I slept in our bed instead of on my Cleopatra couch.  It was so nice not to be curled like a pretzel.  After my 6am meds, I went back to sleep until almost 10am.  Richard stayed home from church today, because he didn't want to leave me alone for such a long time.  He's the best!

How sweet :)

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY to Richard and to everyone.

I've used both Fatigued-to-Fantastic's (Enzymatic Therapy) sleep product, called Sleep Revitalization (or something like that). It worked well for me. I also like 5-HTP, which is sold under many brands. It's an all-natural product that supplies serotonin to the brain. It makes you drowsy and also helps with a feeling of well-being, which is often lacking when you haven't been getting enough sleep! Both are available in health food stores, under $10.

It was truly a joy to log in and see that DR Jane was back here at HHW!  Take it easy on those wrists, but do return as often as you can!   :)

Thank you to all who gave me such a warm welcome back :)

I do miss everyone here & think about you often even if I'm not posting.

Cincinnati's PBS station is showing La Boheme from The Met.  Watching the scene change from Act 1 to Act 2 was very cool.  Mimi's a little old.

Over on a theater chat board some peckerwood has posted a live feed from the Tony rehearsal - I'm sure said peckerwood has tapped into the network feed and I hope they catch him and expose who it is to everyone there and then oust him and ridicule him royally.  That's what I hate about these little Internet dweebs - let these people work in peace, for heaven's sake.  You are not entitled to see this, to steal this, or to share this.  What a world.

And then some twelve-year-old posts "What is wrong with Jack Klugman's voice?" with an obvious air of disdain.  It is to laugh.

Well, even though I was at the Tony Awards rehearsal this morning, you can't blame me for that one.

Good Morning!  Good Afternoon!

I'm up, I'm up... And, yes, I attended the Tony Awards rehearsal this morning.  It was quite fun.  I think I shall abstain from posting any sort of "spoilers" right now - I'm sure the chat boards will be dishing the dish (and there were some dish-worthy moments) - but if anyone has any questions about something during tonight's broadcast, I'll see if I can answer them.

*One very cool thing about this morning's rehearsal:  My friend, Adam, who let me tag along with him, was part of a "VISA Signature" Tony Weekend Package which includes some special events, tickets to a show, the rehearsal, the Awards themselves, etc.  Well, one of the special things they arrange for during the rehearsal are photo-ops with various celebrities - basically, anyone who happened to be walking up the aisle and was snagged by the photographer.  So, due to my seating assignment, I ended up smack dab in the middle of a bunch of the photos.  So, hopefully, in a week or two, I will have copies of the photos with Barry Bostwick, John Lithgow, Christian Siriano, Laura Belle Bundy, Laura Linney, etc., etc., etc.
