They should have listened to you.....maybe I will listen to the score....since some GOOD people seem to like it....  ;D

I am NOT close minded on SOME things.  :P  But on others....snapped shut!  ;D

I'll PM you the list of ballads so you don't have to click on the titles unknowingly.

...And I know that Glory Days received a lot of hype due to the fact that it's writers were only 23/4, but Lin-Manuel Miranda is only 28.  -And he started writing the show when he was in college at Wesleyan.  Still a youngin'.

And I think he's totally adorable....unfortunately I'm old enough to be his mother....

Like the choreographer for SINGING IN THE RAIN shouldn't ask all the old men who are auditioning for non singing roles to learn the dance for MAKE EM LAUGH......

*I wish they would broadcast some of the fake winners' fake acceptance speeches from today's rehearsals.  Some of them were a true hoot!

In the Heights is on our list for possible shows at the end of the summer.  That selection wouldn't have convinced me, but others' recommendations have.

Ginny, I think you'll really enjoy it.  There are a number of ballads starting with the second song in the show. It's a great mix of some rap, ballads, great latin up-tempo music... the clip didn't do it justice

Good evening, all!

It's been a busy Father's Day weekend. Yesterday we spent prepping the ground, adding topsoil and laying sod at the DF-I-L's house. Some company did something with replumbing and septic tank and such, and then hauled in a bunch of crappy red clay and spread it over the entire front yard. This stuff was full of sticks, bricks and rocks, which had hardened due to the drought. So it was a lot of work in the hot sun and boy, were we ...so tender and delicious!

Then we drove back and took my Mom and her partner (I think of him as a F-I-L) for Father's Day at his favorite restaurant. Finally got home in time to catch the end of the Tony's.

Happy Father's Day, bk, JMK, Der B, FJL (I assume that Cason acknowledged you today!) and anyone else I missed!

OH!  I guess they are running short on time... The clips were longer in rehearsal.
