The winner's spouse is a cutie pie.

I notice the winner did not mention her father.

She thanked her family. -And maybe she'll get more specific on the Thank You cam.

*And his new cabaret act at the Metropolitan Room, alas, received a not so nice review from the Times.  And from some of my friends as well.

Since I can gather who won supporting actress from the comments, was that a surprise?  Who was she up against?

They didn't technically HAVE to fill the 4th slot for Musical Revival.  But the producers kind of forced it.

*And during rehearsal, they had to stop since the top part of the locker set would not align properly.  It kept swing back and forth.. And the audience would sort of "Ooohh" and "Aahh" as it moved into place... then out of place... then into place.. the out of place... ;)

How can Kathleen Marshall sit there and smile and clap after that steaming pile we just saw?  Wasn't she responsible for most of it?

I think it's fairly official that Miss Marshall is one of the least interesting choreographer/directors in the history of the musical theater - and I mean that in the nicest possible way.

Not as old as the underwhelming Ms Marshall, I would guess.

Wasn't a surprise to me. It's who I would have picked if I had written down an entire guess list.

I believe the chorus was "sweetened" for most of the ensemble numbers tonight, regardless of the show.

That is a tough, tough role.....    Interesting that she thanked the lyricist who is still living, but omitted the composer who has shuffled off this mortal coil.  :D
