And wouldn't you know it, I cannot find the lyrics to "Glass Mountain," that wonderful song from "The Oscar" (not "Maybe September", the tune they "call" "The Song from 'The Oscar'") but that lovely theme used throughout the film and only the album is sung by a chorus.

I'm up, I'm up. A little earlier than necessary, but who's counting. Who is always counting, especially in the morning. Have you ever tried sleeping when who is sitting there like so much fish going 4.5, 6, 7, 12 13, 14, 22, 23, 23 (I hate when who repeats numbers).

I have the original sheet music, signed by Percy, of both Maybe September and Glass Mountain. One of my proudest moments as a musician was being able to perform Maybe September for Ray Evans many years ago. He told me Percy would have loved my piano playing, which really touched me very deeply. He had tears in his eyes when he came up to me, and I am insisting to this day they were tears of joy.

Hmmm...looking back at some of posts from Sunday, i guess I was somehow signed in on HHW during part of the Tony telecast, even though I was hard at work elsewhere at the computer. I did come to HHW for the after-party, though.
