I wish they'd go ahead and write off psychobitch Sophie, mostly because the writing for this group of characters is so pathetic and inept, besides completely out of character. Oy!

I miss the days when stories were interesting, defined plotlines and umbrella stories, multi-faceted characters....

Thank god I have tapes!

At least! There are about 700 forest fires burning in Northern California.

I have been buying too many things from Ebay India....I thought you were posting the price of something in rupees.

LOL!

I have now had my last shot (administered by my dental hygienist/EMT sister-in-law) and don't have to have another blood test until Friday.  Still on blood thinner pills - probably for the next 6 months.

But at least no more needles for a couple of days!

We had a nice visit and dinner provided by Richard's older brother and his wife.  Richard and Rob are now cleaning up and I'm ready to crash.

'night!

None of the green ones are brussels sprouts, though...are they?

You never know when they infiltrate and mess with folks knowing what they're about.

No infiltrators here!

So... I'm watching "America's Got Talent"... And the "dancing cowboys" from D.C. just danced...  And I happen to know a few of those "cowboys"... And believe they've either left one word out or deleted it from the title of their group. ???

It's time for me to leave work and go home.  I plan on watching "America's Got Talent" so that I can see for myself if America actually does "Got Talent."

;)

PS, Jose, can you post (or PM me) the left-off word??

I had a really good evening of viewing. I began by finishing the last two episodes of MAD MEN. Except for one absurd plot twist, the show ends magnificently and primes us wonderfully for season two. Can't wait for the new season.

July is going to be a busy premiere month with THE CLOSER, BURN NOTICE, PSYCH, MONK, PROJECT RUNWAY, and MAD MEN all beginning in July (And BIG BROTHER also for some of you).

There is a perfectly marvelous (a CABARET reference) documentary in the MAD MEN set taking it from the writing stage all the way to the production of the first season which took many, many years. That documentary is more than an hour long but it covers every facet of the production.

With time on my own tonight after finishing up MAD MEN, I watched THE OMEN. I got the new special edition for Christmas and am just now getting to it. Doesn't look terrific (the film has never looked all that wonderful) but far, far better than it's ever looked before on home video.

I enjoyed revisiting it. Glad the old laserdisc can now bite the dust.
