No, Ron Pulliam. No rhythm.

And no chocolate pie or cake, I'll bet!

This morning I went for a walk, but I saw nothing of interest.

My DH is always ordering an "extra thick" chocolate milkshake.  They probably roll their eyes and make it the same way every time, but it makes him feel better to order it that way.   ;)

Ginny, I hope everything is ok. I'm surprised they don't do a blood test today to see what's going on.

I once toured the Smithfield factory outside of Williamsburg.  It's enough to turn you vegetarian!

Life is what you make it, and sometimes it is very good!

Life is also what others make it, and that's why beds have covers.

The Tennessee Twist is another matter altogether!

If I tried to dance, it would be the Arizona Twist Your Ankle.

Ask bk:

I've heard Kevin's last name pronouced Spi-ri-tas, but the spelling is two syllables: Spir-tas. Which is correct?

Two syllables... At least that is how I heard it was pronounced on Soap talk.

Hope you're not working on a deadline today!   :)

We are in an end-of-fiscal-year lull/panic.

The lull means I cannot pay any bills between now and July 5.  The lull means I cannot requisition any purchase orders to get work done between now and July 5.  The lull means I must maintain "to do" folders for July 5.

The panic means that while I am "maintaining" my folders, others are scrambling, oh! yes! Scrambling!, trying to get things that cannot be done "done".  It makes me "Lahf"!  :D

Some of the "sweat grenades" get tossed my way, but I just lob them back, not caring one whit where they land.

It's always the same story at the end of the Fiscal Year (new FY starts July 1).

Wasn't "Virginia Hamm" one of the burlesque characters in "Torch Song Trilogy"?

That was Harvey's drag name.

I am crossing my fingers, toes and eyes that one of my Deep Discount orders arrives today.

My first order arrived about 10 days after it shipped. My second order has yet to arrive, and I keep looking for it each day.

Not that I have any time to watch anything contained within, but it's still anticipated!

Did I mention (I forget!  Yes, I do forget!) that I received a nice letter from the IRS Saturday telling me that my "economic stimulus check" will be mailed June 27th?

It's a nice amount.  It's not the max.  It's not the minimum.  But it's nice.

That was Harvey's drag name.

Of course.  And the character named Murray went by "Bertha Fenation"!

Ron, did you catch up on yesterday's posts?  There's a present for you.

We have received no IRS letter and our check is supposedly due next week.  I'm starting to get a little freaked about it.

I mis-typed -- mine will be mailed June 27th.  That, or I should get it by that date.  I don't remember.  That's because "I forget".  Oh! Yes! I forget!
