I thought most of MAGNOLIA was quite wonderful.

I was in need of Dramamine when I attempted to sit through ALW's "Woman in White".

DR Matt. H - I've not given up on Dexter yet. I just found the Senior police officer (female) so clichéd and would have liked the sister much more had she not been drawn "dumb'.

The female characters in Six Feet were it's major strength.

The best Italian I've ever eaten?   You know, I can't remember any that really stick out as far as taste is concerned.   I'm really good at making Italian and tend to prefer a lot of my own stuff.

The female characters in Six Feet were it's major strength.

The female characters here have a much different function from the females in SIX FEET UNDER. To be honest, I don't much like Dexter's sister Deb even after two seasons. I actually find the actress rather annoying, but I've had to get used to her because she figures MAJORLY in both seasons.

But Hall is so hypnotic and so different from his role and performance in SIX FEET UNDER that he just swept me along with the flow of the series. I was willing to follow that character anywhere, and when things get really intense in season two, well, I was just bowled over. He was Emmy nominated for season one, and I will be mightily disappointed if he doesn't get nominated this year as well.

Now, I've finished the writing and get it posted, so I'm ready to head downstairs to bed.

Good night!

Watching SNL makes me realize how much it has decline in quality of humor over the years.

I'm glad they decided to run this.

I'm doing better now, my smart sister was able to "tweak" the air conditioner and it is actually working better now.  I knew I kept her around for something!  ;D

We have been watching some of the DVD's of Saturday Night Live we got in the mail from Blockbuster.  They were one's back in the 70's.  Yes, the quality was much better then!

I can't wait to see Mamma Mia!  I think it's the best of the juke box musicals I've seen. It's so funny and isn't trying to be anything other than a silly fun show.

Of course the 70s were my jr. high and high school years, so we listened to ABBA a lot. I always thought I didn't like them, but I loved hearing the songs again the first time I saw the musical.

I agree.  I loved ABBA when they were together and I still love them.  I also loved "The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert."  I saw Mamma Mia! in Seattle and it was very good.
