A ridiculous question deserves a ridiculous answer.

How about Paris Hilton as Anna and Abe Vigoda as the King?

Better still:

Kathy Bates and Woody Allen.

Isn't the King Jewish?

Would you believe that the genesis of my 1994 movie, CHEYENNE WARRIOR, was THE KING AND I?

I wanted to do THE KING AND I as a western.

It starred Kelly Preston and Pato Hoffmann.

DR Jane, re: your comments last night about my niece's hives.

I don't think it was any type of summer plant. It was raining all day and she did not go outside to play.

As for food, she was at daycare and they don't usually give them anything that could cause allergic reactions. But my sis will ask if they ate anything different. The funny thing is that my niece hates pizza (won't eat it). But they let the kids make themselves pizzas (that they called pizza). And without the sauce on it, my niece liked it!

The doctor said that unless it is a serious reaction to something, we will probably never know what the cause was.

Good morning!

I had hoped for cooler temperatures today (which was promised), but this morning was warm and quite still. NOT cooler. We may get rain this afternoon which will likely help these sizzling temps, but right now, we're slated for a high of 91 today.

>>Then I had to do a couple more errands, and I had my one and only meal at Islands – a burger (much smaller than they used to make) and a few fries. That’s all I ate all day.

And that's why it's taking you so long to lose weight, and that's why, as soon as you go off your diet, you will regain any weight you lost and probably 10 pounds as well.

By eating only 1,000 calories a day, your body thinks its starving and is conserving as much energy as possible. And when you start eating more than 1,000 calories a day, your body is going to take all those "extra" calories and put them into fat and make sure they don't go away.

I know it sounds paradoxical, but if you'd eat 2,000 calories a day, you'd lose just as much weight, and you'd have a much better chance of keeping it off.

No need to take my word for it. Talk to your nutritionist.

I have five more episodes of DEXTER to get through today, and I should have no trouble doing it. I looked ahead at what special features are on the fourth disc (which has only the DEXTER season finale taking up space).

There are two episodes of BROTHERHOOD on it. Does anyone watch this series?

There's an interview with Michael C. Hall.

I believe it said there were also two episodes of season two of THE TUDORS (or either a free pass to view the first two episodes free on-line).

As for the Topic of the Day...

First of all, I actually liked Donna Murphy's Anna.  -However, I did giggle each time they had to push the set drops back in order for her to walk by in those huge hoop skirts.  -And, yes, she also was a bit "pitchy" - and that was before "AI".  ;)

I can relate to that!  I've had severe reactions and had all the pin pricks on my back. They still have no idea what I'm allergic to.

Back to work. Both of the phone books are here at the same time for the yearly advertising. I know I have to do it, but man it's expensive.  I wish they wouldn't ask me on the same day so I can see what it is total.  I need to know that, but it's really sad.

My niece also did wear a new raincoat yesterday that had not been washed. But the doc did not think it was that.

Apparently most kids get hives. And the doc said they usually do not find out what caused it.

predictions for who will win?

And who do you want to win?

i'd say prediction to win: joshua
Who i want: katee.

My choice would be katee, twitch, joshua, then courtney.
