The political ads are starting....again.

How do you CREATE 1000 jobs?  Isn't a job about doing something that needs to be done?  How do you CREATE 1000 jobs?

I also have some snapshots from my family gathering this weekend...and will start with our newest family member, Baby Cole, my neice Katie (and hubby Brian's) 3 month old (ignore the red eye...he really isn't Rosemary's baby)

Katie sitting with Dog Griffin, one of my cousin Molly's dogs. ( the reunion took place at Molly's house in Oregon City).

Griffin is a strange dog who has no fur. He is a little sweetie and quite the lap dog.

These very sour looking people are (from L to R) my Auntie Ellen, her husband Uncle Jim, and Uncle Bud. Bud and Ellen are my mom's siblings.

All three are really fun, nice people, despite the looks of this photo! LOL! Jim and Bud both turned 80 this year.

Hi, everyone, from beautiful (yes, beautiful, Jane ;) ) Klamath Falls.  The Running Y is simply glorious.  We had a largely uneventful trip down, with the exception of some roadwork right before we got to KF which delayed us for about a half hour.  We have a huge beautiful condo, the kids are out of their minds with excitement and Betsy and I are very happy we decided to do this close to home adventure this year.  I think we'll be going horseback riding later today.  Oy.  There were Jewish cowboys, as any historian will tell you.  ;)

This is my younger brother Dan who lives in Medford. Dan was the bane of my existence for most of my life. We do get along now, but as a child, teenager, and young adult, he was the most disruptive force in our family.

Oh! I keep meaning to ask if any DR is planning to or has already entered the BroadwayWorld.com Mary Poppins Sweepstakes/Dance Contest? If you want to show off your spelling and letter-shaping skills, it might be worth your while. ;)

Hmmmm... I wonder if this is what DR singdaw entered the other week?

This is one of my three older brothers, Jeff, and his wife Linda. They live in Tigard. Jeff has always been a swell big brother although he did not take Dan and I to the movies like big brother Allen used to.

Here is sister Sue and neice Katie (Sue's daughter). Sue is holding Dog Griffin, since someone else is evidently hogging the holdling of her grandchild.

Thanks, DR Jennifer, for this link which I would never have read otherwise. I loved the show and feel it got unfairly treated (as does the creator). I don't understand why a DVD set hasn't been mounted for release. That BOMB version of THE BIONIC WOMAN that NO ONE liked already came out on DVD months ago.

re: journeyman

I agree i really liked this show a lot. It's a shame that some of these gems just don't pick up an audience.

Dog Bosco had a fun time at the reunion, and eventually found this beautiful spot in Molly's back yard to relax.

Griffin does not like his rump to touch the bare floor, so he is often found sitting on his big sister, Chloe (who is one heck of a well behaved girl!)
