Heading down now to check the mail (which has been unusually light this past week; one day I got nothing and another day just a couple of circulars) and then prepare luncheon.

Good morning / afternoon / evening to everyone!

Wow!  What a wonderful group of people friends there are on HHW.  What a great way to start the day!  I wish I had the cleverness of SWW, or the typing skills of practically anybody but me; so that I could personally thank each and every one of you, individually, for your good wishes on my birthday.

Since I don’t have either, let me just express a heartfelt thank you to
BK, coleslaw, SWW, Tomovoz (I didn’t read it), George, Ginny, Ben Jrandsoon58, FJL, td, Amy, Dear Reader Laura, Matt H., elmore3003, JoseSPiano, and Jeanne

You are all terrific!

Whew!  The August edition of Grantseeking Basics is history.  I sat on a stool for most of the 3 hours and found that I can, indeed, talk with out walking around.  Who knew?

Back from the long jog, which wasn't too bad today.  I shall now be on my way to do a few things, after which I shall return.

Such unusual dreams.  I shall work on them when I return home after work.

Slow day here, with computer/cash register problems.

However in the spirit of Liz Renay and her autobiography, My Face for the World to See - here is the performance that won the talent show for Shelly and me LAST Saturday night about 2 a.m.

The audio is not so hot, but there you.

You can imagine what the other acts were like, if we won.

I also forgot yesterday to tell DR Edi that I enjoyed her video, too!

Hmm... So, did Hunter have his shirt on or off?
On.

And was his left armpit sweating?
No.

*And was there any sign of Jeff Bowen with his shirt off in the background?
Alas, no.

Back from my wanderings.  She of the Evil Eye is gone, and I'm listening to CDs.  Then I'll probably try to finish The Great Race, then, maybe later I'll watch Pete Kelly's Blues.

Did someone here say that they'd gotten a volume two of Trijntje Oosterhuis's Bacharach album?  I can find no trace of it.
