Is there much of a dowry left at this point?  ;)

Dowry?!  She's going to the highest bidder!

I've always teased Richard that my Miami University employee tuition waiver was my dowry.  He completed most of his doctoral program tuition-free as a result of marrying me!

That's called working the system. :)

Sorry, DR Vixmom, I lost that benefit when I resigned after Rob was born.  And none of my friends who continued to work there could convince any of their kids to go to college there.

Much as I'd like to stay up and chat with all you lovely folks, I'm not retired yet and 6am will be here before I know it.

Hi. The only reason I can think of that I'm not back is that I'm just being stubborn for no good reason...

My friend Josh called about an hour ago, asking where I was.  He's also going to be in "Loot."  "What??" I asked.  Evidently, Tom (the director) sent me an e-mail last night but it never got to me...he must've had a wrong e-mail address. :-\ Anyway, it wasn't so bad for me to not be there tonight, since another person wasn't there, either.  We'll all (hopefully, all) meet tomorrow night and go from there.  My first rehearsal!

:o I'd better read the darned script!

Oh well since I don't visit any other boards, I haven't missed any clues...DR ARNOLD BROCKMAN makes some good guesses though.

I think I will go to bed and hope my computer lasts through the night.

Another evening of being able to squeeze in a lot of viewing.

First, I finished the remaining featurettes on THE SIXTH SENSE. All ported over from the various DVD releases.

Next, I watched the MAD MEN episode from its next to last airing (not Sunday night's).

I felt so awful for Joan who was doing a marvelous job and then got replaced by a man who didn't know what he was doing! Such unfairness, then and now. (Her boy friend was very cute.) Anxious to see what happens to Don's marriage now.

I had some time before starting on NCIS, so I pulled out IT'S ALWAYS FAIR WEATHER and watched four numbers: two of Dolores Grey's songs, Cyd's "Baby, You Knock Me Out" which is really spectacular, and Kelly's "I Like Myself."

Just felt the need for some feel good musical numbers, and I hadn't watched the film in a long time.
