I am heading downstairs to bed as my eyes have suddenly gotten very heavy.

Good night!

I just discovered the LOADING message creates an error if you have a popup blocker on.  Turning that off solved that problem, I think.  BK email me if you want me to look into this other stuff.  I won't change a thing until we've talked/emailed.

DR JMK - Under Profile->Look and Layout Preferences, have you checked off "Don't warn on new replies made while posting."?

It's not the same error, and I've just discovered it's actually an MSN thing.  If I do it in IE or Firefox, it's fine.

Who is Norm dePlume, I wonder?

There is someone on this board who just might know who Norm is.
He has sort of met him years ago on another board.

They sent the RIGHT person home on TOP DESIGN last night - although I am entirely over Wisit and his flat opera singing - and sabotaging of other designers with his own ideas....then last night it was an individual challenge, and I really like his room the best....go figure.

As far as I am concerned, though, he should have gone home instead of Kerry during the window challenge....oh well.

SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER

ON PROJECT RUNWAY, I thought they should have dumped the obnoxious Kelly who finally learned from everyone what a horror she is.

I hope her parents recorded every episode so that she can see exactly what kind of personality she has that they are all responding to.  I feel sorry for because I think she's been emotionally damaged in her life, but I'm not sorry enough to wish her well.  She created all her own misery and the other folks' reactions toward her.

Even when Tim invited her into the group hug and asked for "bygones", she just sat there starting stupidly at him.

I've seen the Bryant Park runway shows for all four of them (plus Suede's and Joe's).  The narrator on each doesn't know who was in contention for winner of the show and who wasn't, and that included Joe and Suede.  Interestingly enough, the narrator was convinced that neither Joe nor Suede was anywhere near good enough to have been in the finals.  Of the final four, it was interesting to see the works and to hear the narrator's assessment.

How the judges of the show will rate their collections, though, is anybody's guess.

Actually I thought it was the last 5 that went to Byrant Park. And we see clips of them saying they deserve it.

Well I think they should start production earlier so that the actual three show and there is no need for decoys and they have to wait for a live results final.

I'm heading off to bed now, too, after having watched the debate and the second half of VERITGO.  The thing about VERTIGO is, that whenever I watch it, I feel compelled to watch it again almost immediately following.  Such a rich, rich film with those two riveting performances.  I simply love VERTIGO.

I've done all of the little act one Nudie Musical fixes.  Act Two tomorrow.  For now, I just feel like sitting here like so much fish.  I did watch all The Godfather set extras - the new ones aren't that wonderful and I'd seen the old ones, which were moderately interesting.

JMK, let's talk tomorrow - if Bakalor doesn't do it, and if the pro guy from the software site doesn't do it, then we'll talk about you doing it.  I really would like the Calendar and Who's Online buttons back, and from what the pro guy sent me as instructions, it does sound pretty easy to do.  I'd also like the usernames who are on the board to show on top.  I presume if we put the Calendar back in action then the home page of the board would show us the birthdays?

One thing I don't see under "additional options" is a way to post a photograph.  Am I missing that?

However, I'm listening to Paul Desmond's brilliant Summertime CD and it's very relaxing.  Mr. Desmond has the smoothest and sweetest sound of any sax player who ever lived.  Nobody like him.  Beautiful orchestrations by Don Sebesky.

DR George, I'm about to browse the functions now.

HAVE A GREAT TIME in Coquille with your cousin's!

Thanks!  I'm sure we will. :D

What, exactly, is the procedure for finding "today's column" with this new format?  Do I need to retain the old URL?

Yes, you can't get there from here anymore - and I doubt that will get fixed.  It's the usual address, www.haineshisway.com, AND the link at the end of the notes should now bring you to the new board.

So we won't be able to get to the Radio Show from here either. We will have to go from the Main Page.

Until it's added here, you can still go to www.haineshisway.com/community to get to the calendar and everything else on the old board.

BTW, the annoying "LOADING" error is still popping up when you try to quote when you have the Quick Reply box up.  That would be my first request to get fixed.

JMK, what you could also do (it's what I did) is go into your profile, click on "Look and Layout Preferences," then near the bottom there's the option "Use quick reply on topic display."  Set it to "show, off by default."  This gives you a toggle link that you have to manually open the quick reply box, but you don't get any error message, nor does it automatically make your quote appear in the quick reply box.  It takes you to the regular quote box, like it used to. :)
