Thanks everyone for the information on Sound of Music. I ask because Fireside Dinner Theatre is doing Sound of Music next August and I'm thinking of my husband's future employment. I think he could play Max. I just now have to convince the director  :D

DR Jane:

The font feature is dependant on the fonts you have installed on your computer - use your Word Processing program to check what you have

Font test = Paragon

Font Test = Aarvark

Font Test = Merlin

der Brucer

I type font test, highlight it with the red capital A (up top of the preview or reply page) to change the font.  Now, how can I change the font from Verdana to something else?  I don't see anywhere to do that.

I can click on the A, copy & paste your Merlin down it & that works, not the method I'm really after ;D

Going to write for a bit and then head down to finish MISSION IMPOSSIBLE and see what kind of time I have left to watch something for fun before I watched NCIS off the DVR skipping commercials.

DR Jane - As DR DerBrucer stated, the fonts that display are dependent upon which ones are on your system and/or which ones are enabled in your browser.  In fact, none of those fonts in the "Font test" showed up on my screen.  Otherwise...

There is no drop-down menu for fonts.  -Was there one on the "old" board?  So, if you want to change the font, you can still highlight the Red A, but then you will have to replace "Verdana" (which is the default font) with another font name.  In other words, you will have to delete "Verdana" and type in another font name - of course, you have to know the names of the font(s) that you want to display.  -And then hope that other DRs have those fonts on their computers too.

DR Ben - Having worked "around" that director for the past couple of years, I believe all Ant would have to do is to suggest to the director that he would like to play Max.  And then if Ant needs some back-up, then have him give the director your phone number.  ;)

As far as I know there wasn't a way to change the font on the old board.  I just wondered if there was a way on this one, without doing a cut and paste.  I hoped I had missed something.  I guess not-thanks.

I didn't realize you can't read a different font if it isn't on your computer.

They made a wonderful reuben on rye, and they served it with a kosher dill and a side of German potato salad.

Hot or cold salad?

I second Ron Pulliam's homegrown tomato sandwich. I add a little red onion, so mine is a tomato/onion sandwich.

You don't fool me, Missus, that "liitle red thing" is a crawdad!

BK -

You might consider one of these for your jogs - the cheap version holds only 20 seconds, but you can pay extra for ones with more time.

Where do you get such a thing - it's perfect for when I'm trying to remember on the jog.

TOD:  There was a deli here for years that we'd go to semi-regularly for awhile (OK about once a week for a few years and then months in-between).  It used to be next to a Thom McCann and got moved to a different building nearby in the 70's.  Their sandwiches were typical... very good, very greasy at times.  But, it was one of the few places where they'd take the time to let you know if the brisket was lean and trim it right for the sandwiches.  A stack of lean brisket, a couple slices of Swiss on an onion roll, an order of fries and Cream Soda, and I was happy!

Today, most men who go bare-chested or show their chests on TV have shaved chests.

I had three chicken tenders (not big ones) and some cucumber roll for the meal.  I'll probably eat a little something later, as I don't think what I had adds up to more than about eight hundred calories.

Home-made:  Cheese, tomato and either left over real turkey or leftover roast beef

Back when I was a family man, we often prepared a turkey just for the leftovers. (For a family of 5 an 18lb Turkey is a very economical food choice!)

Japanese Maki Roll - that's the title of my next novel.

Is that what cucumber role is called in Japan?
