I think I'm going to go to a Weight Watchers meeting on Thursday night. There is one at a church in my neighborhood.  It would be very convenient. I've never been to a Weight Watchers meeting, but I think it's time I went.

DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES had a really good episode as well tonight. The stories are really gelling, even if the Bree story tonight was completely predictable.

And I watched the first half of BROTHERS & SISTERS. Interesting storylines tonight, and I'll look forward to seeing how they all play out tomorrow when I finish the episode.

I have a bit of writing to do, and then I'm heading down to bed.

I hope all who are under the weather feel much better tomorrow.

Good night!

DR ARNOLDMBROCKMAN is correct....I do remember hearing Anaheim, Azusa, and Cucamonga on The Jack Benny Show.  But I also heard Daffy Duck say it....of course it was Mel Blanc both times.

So our NEW avatars can't be made larger?  Hmmmm.....oh well maybe I will go back to the big one tomorrow.

Glad to hear DR JOSE is getting along well on his vacation.

DR TCB it sounds like you are the arranger extraordinaire!  There are VERY few people I went to school with 40 years ago that I would be interested in seeing again ... and verse visa, I am sure.

I too loved SLEEPING BEAUTY....but haven't got the DVD yet.  I think because when it came out in 1959, I had two sisters under the age of six, and we had all the paper dolls, coloring books, ColorForms, and board games.....so it was very much a part of our lives for about a year.

Finished SLEEPING BEAUTY and its supplements and also checked out the SD version.  Review should be live soon.  Flickering anomaly is also in the SD version--looks like it's one of the rear plates of the multi-plane camera and is only for the briefest of moments in the opening montage, thankfully.  BK, the only softness I noticed was one very brief shot of the prince with his horse in the forest scene.  The rest looked sharp as a tack to me.  Supplements galore on this release, most of them really excellent.  The commentary (two versions--just a commentary and then a picture-in-picture version) is superb.

Not your message.  I got that but when I click reply it gets stuck in the out box.

Well, it's certainly better than being stuck in the out house! ;D

Well, I must do the Wussburger thing and go to bed.  Tomorrow, we have All Staff Training Day, where everyone in the library district (who doesn't take the day off) gets together for training and stuff...and a free lunch.  I don't have much vacation AND I'm getting my "20 years of service" gift, so I should be there.  It all starts at 8:45 a.m., so I need to go to bed now.

Good night, all!

Back from the movie, about which plenty later.  Jose was right - I should have stayed home.
