My Dad just called and he's now on his way back to the hospital. I'm glad he went ahead and took a longer break than he had planned - he went shoppng at Lowe's.

. Once he gets here, I'll head out to get some dinner - I am not eating dinner here at hospital! - and I still may try to catch a movie tonight. And get some ice cream, of course.

*Although, I'm glad I was here earlier to clarify some of the answers my Mom was giving to her doctor. There was one answer she gave which might have postponed her surgery for a day or two. I know that I have a tendency to mumble, but at least my mumbling is direct.

I'm thinking I need something sweet. Yesterday, because I'd only eaten ham and eggs and an English muffin all day, I splurged and had a nice candy bar last night at the movie. Since I only ate two tuna sandwiches (with all ingredients about 850 calories), I'm thinking I can afford something sweet this evening. I do like those 100 calorie Skinny Cow ice cream bars - yes, that might just be the ticket.

I am enjoying some homemade oatmeal cookies. I'm getting my oatmeal and don't have to wash the bowl....well I did wash the mixing bowl, but that was yesterday.

That book was a real fav with my group. If I weren't going to GA for a wedding this weekend, I'd get them together to see the movie.

I got some Ben and Jerry's Cherry Garcia frozen yogurt - very diet friendly and low fat grams and I think it will really hit the spot and cheer my weary bones right up.
