I have to agree with what DR JRand said last night about Carole Lombard.  As much as I adore her, she did not make many memorable movies.  After watching the always wonderful MY MAN GODFREY last night, I tried to sit though NO MAN OF HER OWN in which she co-starred with Clark Gable.  You would think that the sparks between the two would be there, but they're not.  I quit it half way through.

And why do I always forget that Lombard was NOT in TOPPER?

DR Ann - Toby is a beautiful baby and you and Jed look very comfortable as parents.  Thank you for sharing the photos - enjoy these "baby" days - they go so-o-o-o fast!

Back from the long jog - it's really nice out - warm but not too hot, with none of the chilly air of the last four days.

Evening Primrose has a ways to go yet - remember, we did 3000 of those - much harder to sell out that number than a 1000.  But we're inching our way there and a few orders come in every few days.

Two of my favorite shirts came from Robert Hall (in about 1971).   And no, Laura, i do not own them any longer... I think.

Kerry, the second box arrived today! Wow, where did you get them? I love the Theatre Monthly (I think that's it, I'm at the office and the books are at home).

Good Afternoon!

:)

They finished the surgeries about a half an hour ago, and we'll get to see her in another half hour or so.  Everything went very well, and it turned out she only needed a single bypass instead of a double.

Thanks again for all the Love and Concern.

Laters...

:)

Yayhoo!!!  Have the cake and pastries you mentioned (or was those euphemisms for the doctors?)

This 4-6 week closing is ridiculous since we're now into week 8 and the damned county, which I would think would have its act together before signing off on these property sales, still hasn't provided the buyer with the necessary paperwork for the closing. This is total bullshit, and i am starting to fear this closing will drag on until 2009. I'm mostly pissed because I wanted to use a small portion of the sale to pay for a Thanksgiving trip, shipment of about 25 more cartons to Miami University, and purchase of a couple of pieces of furniture.

Right now I'm very frustrated, and I could use more vibes to get this thing rolling. Now if we could only sell the rest of the three acres!
