We're seeing BILLY ELLIOT tomorrow night, assuming all is well with the set.

I'm really not particularly fond of Lance and Lacey.  I think Cloris should go home, but she did work really hard last week and was much better.  Rocco can't dance but I wish he could.   I like Warren and Kim,  and Brook and Derek the most.

The house manager said they were working for over a half hour trying to fix it. They may be working into the night to get it fixed. It's probably cheaper to pay them overtime then to cancel more shows.

The rest of this week, with the exception of Saturday night is on my list for a replacement date. If I can get a ticket for tomorrow evening I'll see you there.

Even though I have lots of theatre lined up I also have lots of open dates between now and the time it opens so I hope I can get something by being so flexible.

I think in this ridiculous effort at these mammoth sets with hydraulics they are going to find this happening more and more - it happens almost nightly with 9 to 5.  I can promise you if Nudie Musical gets to B'way it will be delightfully retro in that regard.

Too bad the prices won't be retro, too.

New MacBook Pros?  I'm obsolete already???

As always, they save the 17" screen for a few months down the road.

I thought your MacBook was a bit "older" - maybe even three or four "generations" ago at this point?

*And the MacBook Pro line has had a 17" screen for a while now.

**And Mac has a "habit" of rolling out something new every six months as it is, so...  Just wait until January.  ;)

Will there be any roles for older gentlemen in the stage version of NUDIE MUSICAL?  I know it isn't Wednesday, yet, but it is close!

DR Ben - :-\

Hmm... Interesting note about the running time.  I know a couple of people who have already seen the show, and they've been saying that the three hours goes by very fast.  Alas, if they have to cut something to bring it under three hours, ah, well...  I guess this will be one of those shows that will actually start at 8:00 and not 8:05, and will have a true 15-minute intermission and not an 18 or 22 minute one.  -However, I don't seem to recall hearing that the London production running over the three hour mark.  ???

*Maybe they can ask for some concessions from and with the unions.  I mean with all the "experimental" and "tiered" tour contracts now, I would think they could work something out.  (Yeah, right.)

**I actually sort of purposely missed the revival of Les Miserables since I actually do and did miss the 15 minutes they cut from the show during the original run of the show.

It's pretty well known that I don't drive.  (Even after promising that I would, but we haven't gotten around to it yet, and I haven't had much time off from work so that I can get in much or any practice.)

So, years ago, it provoked a good deal of laughter when I won a door prize at the office Christmas party: a complementary lube job for my car.

On the other hand, that's what someone considered a Christmassy door prize?  Sheesh.

There have been many Christmas Eve's when I would have killed for such a door prize.

For the car, TCB, for the car!!!

Well, Apple did unveil it's new MacBooks and MacBook Pros.  Very pretty.  Alas, no real price drop.  Although, they did roll out a new "white" MacBook which is going for $999....

And you expected the more truthful price of $666?

Most distressing theatre news from DR BEN.  I guess I can only say the audience at ALL MY SONS should be so lucky.

And still MORE good news from DR JOSE!  Wonderful.

I bought the L/L book that DR CILLA LIZ wrote about yesterday.

And suddenly on Facebook all of my theatre friends from the 80's are showing up.....first one....and that leads to others and others.....
