My Mom was already up and talking at the hospital this morning... :)

I was going to go over this morning, but her nurse suggested that only one of us head over this morning so that my Mom doesn't have too many things or people to concentrate on.  I'm a little bummed, but they also said that it looks like they will be moving her to her regular recovery room tonight(!), so I'll see her then.  :)

*However, I woke up today "feeling my sinuses", so, I was already feeling a little apprehensive about heading to the hospital as soon as I got out of bed.  In the meantime, I'm having a very leisurely breakfast - oatmeal, yogurt, green tea - and I'm taking care of a couple of emails and phone calls.  -And I'm surfing the net as well.  ;)

I don't know what the hell is going on. I just tried to post a respnse to Jose's report on his mother and I was told my session had timed out, the second time I tried, a green "loading in" sign appeared and stayed on for what seemed a long time, and the third time I was told there were too many connections. Let's see what happens this time!

The notes seem to be fine now, however I can not seem to wake up this morning. Perhaps I should not have given up coffee.

I could not log on a few minutes ago - nor could I access the notes - "Safari could not open the page “http://www.haineshisway.com/smf/index.php” because the server is not responding."  I wrote our host asking them to fix it and to let me know the problem (they won't), but then everything suddenly worked, so I wrote them back and said never mind.  It does sound like something happened during the night.

So, both sections of the notes are now okay?

I'm up and foggy and groggy and out of it, but hopefully that will clear up soon.  My sinuses were completely blocked when I woke up, probably the reason I woke up.

I'm still blocked from them.  Some kind of virus error message [using IE 6.0]   :(

I adored the Charlie Chan films.  Often predictable but always entertaining!

I'm getting the new "too many connections" error message periodically.

Me too.

And moi aussi....many, many, many times this morning.  I've only now been able to "read" page 2.

singdaw, try clearing your cache and access them again - if you get the same virus warning, please send it to me so I can send it to them.  I can access both sections of the notes just fine via safari.

I tried and got the same error message, but since I'm at work it could be some weird network thing.  I'll see what it looks like when I get home tonight.

Alas, over the past hour or so, my sinuses seemed to have taken a turn for the worse, so I think I'm going to crawl back into bed to rest and recuperate.

My Dad just got back from the hospital, and he did see and talk to my mother.  She's very, very tired - and understandably so.  Hopefully, I'll be able to see here later tonight.

Btw, is anybody else having problems reading the notes. I only got half a page, with no place to click.

And then when i came here it said:

Sorry, SMF was unable to connect to the database. This may be caused by the server being busy. Please try again later.

I didn't have any trouble. :-\

MBarnum, were you aware that Tracey Ullman's Showtime series State of the Union features a mini-Bollywood number in each episode?  One of her many characters is an Indian pharmacist who breaks into song as she dispenses her drugs.  Just got the first season DVD yesterday to review and thought you would enjoy knowing that if you didn't already.

Yes, DR George, my congratulations on your 20,000-plus posts, as well!

This time next year, we'll be looking at "singdaw" from a different perspective, I suspect.

The internet is finally stablized at home...

However HHW is blocked at work for some odd reason... When I asked ITS why they said offensive material... They did not explain their definition of offensive....
