Sorry about that, DR JoseSPiano.  Hope that you can see your mom as soon as possible.

Like I said, I am a little bummed, however, I think I may be in the early stages of a sinus infection, so.. Some rest today would be a good thing.

BK, i wonder if you could put some type of note up on the old board telling people where the new board is. I'd hate for occasional readers not to know where to go.

It all clicks through to the new board now if you read the Notes.

Or were you sorry about Anderson Cooper liking Prince and The Scissor Sisters?

Ummm..  So, Anderson Cooper is filling in for Regis Philbin today (this week?), and James Marsden is their first guest...  Yummy!  Yummy!

Oohh... And James Marsden runs along the West Side Hwy... Hmm... Maybe I do need to explore more places other than The Reservoir?

DR JoseSPiano - I'm reading Kenny Shopsin's book/cookbook, Eat Me!, and am enjoying it a great deal.  :)   Thanks for alerting me to his existence!

You're welcome, DR singdaw.

*Hmmm... I'm wondering if I should start planning another HHW Eating and Walking Tour concentrating on some of the more interesting places to eat in NYC.  Hmmm...  Of course, if we hit Shopsin's it would have to be each Hainsie or Kimlet for him/herself.  ;)

Well, I didn't read the Notes, either, because my Chrome browser warned me that the page was trying to load malware to my PC.  So I have no idea what the TOD is about.

More good news about your mom, DR Jose!  Hopefully, you'll be allowed to get into to see her today.

So you woke up "feeling your sinuses"...uh-huh...I guess that's the new slang out there nowadays...

And then when i came here it said:

Sorry, SMF was unable to connect to the database. This may be caused by the server being busy. Please try again later.

Tried to watch HIGH SCHOOL CONFIDENTIAL on TCM last night but found that I could not stand any of the characters, young and adult alike.  So I watched Woody Allen's LOVE AND DEATH instead and laughed my ass off.

Mercury retrograde has struck the notes.....I clicked on the Daily Column archive and read it from there....even though the first half was shaded!

Vibes for DR JOSE et al.

Mercury is indeed out of retrograde.....but things are still a bit technically challenging.

But you're always supposed to read the Notes first.  ;)

*Besides, it's probably better that some of those "Guests" are not reading the new forum.  -And, I'm also guessing that some of those "Guests" may have been "phishing" programs.

Here is a short article from Playbill On-Line basically saying the same thing I said last night about

Billy Elliot.

It looks like Fred and Skip should be able to see the show today.

I will head over to the Ticket Office in about a half hour to see what I can do about getting another ticket.

For some reason, my computer is only partially loading the bk notes. I'll have to go back later to try to read them all.

. . .and here I thought it was only MY computer!

-And it looks like something is going on with this board too right now.  I'm getting the new "too many connections" error message periodically.

So...

Is anyone else a little weirded out by the new DirectTV commercial based on "Poltergeist"?  Craig T. Nelson is "live", but having the footage of Heather O'Rourke... :-\

My Mom was already up and talking at the hospital this morning... :)

I was going to go over this morning, but her nurse suggested that only one of us head over this morning so that my Mom doesn't have too many things or people to concentrate on.  I'm a little bummed, but they also said that it looks like they will be moving her to her regular recovery room tonight(!), so I'll see her then.  :)

*However, I woke up today "feeling my sinuses", so, I was already feeling a little apprehensive about heading to the hospital as soon as I got out of bed.  In the meantime, I'm having a very leisurely breakfast - oatmeal, yogurt, green tea - and I'm taking care of a couple of emails and phone calls.  -And I'm surfing the net as well.  ;)

Well, at least you'll get to see her later in the day, and it sounds as if everything went swimmingly so far. Enjoy your day. What happened to your movie plans?
