Here we go again - nothing but WUSSBURGERS.  But at least we got to page fifteen - haven't done that in quite some time.

DR JMK, we have done All Things Bright and Beautiful before, and I love For the Beauty of the Earth, I may pull that out this spring.  However, after this evening's rehearsal, we may not be doing anything more than unison singing after the new year.  They tanked on Shepherd's Pipe Carol even after two months of drilling.  I was NOT happy.  Anyhow, I'll need to check out the new Rutter CD.

Topic of the Day...Except for "The Fall" and "Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day," these are all the movies that I've seen in theaters (that I can remember).  And I really like most of them:

The Fall (only saw on DVD, but I LOVE!)
Forgetting Sarah Marshall
Indiana Jones (not my favorite, by a long shot)
Journey to the Center of the Earth in 3-D
Mamma Mia!
Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day (only saw on DVD. It's delightful)
Rent: Filmed on Broadway
Wall-E

We are allowed to carry over up to 15 vacation days into the new year.  I will be carrying over 11.

Where I work, we can accrue up to 240 hours (prorated to one's FTP) of vacation time and I'm down to probably 20 hours or so. ::) I'd better start building it up.  If I remember correctly, only once have I ever had more than 100 hours of vacation time, and that was a year and a half ago.

I do have over 1,200 hours of sick leave, though.  And there's NO limit to how many hours of sick leave that we can accrue. ;)

Well, I missed the last few minutes of THE ROAD TO RUIN (1934) as my DVR did not pick all of it up...however, I am pretty sure that Helen, who went from sweet innocent high school girl to hanging out with boys, then drinking, then smoking, then using Maryjane, then having elicit sex, getting pregnant and having an abortion, and finally running a very high fever...well, I suspect that Helen did not make it to the final credits.

If only the parents had paid heed to the counselors wish for sex education for the students.

Sounds a bit like "Reefer Madness." ;D

***SAFE TRAVEL VIBES***
for DR George!!!!!

Thanks!  Today was a day filled with driving.  There was one hill that, because of traffic, took a long time, but other than that, the actual driving today was no problem. :)

Boy, I would save up for an electric garage door. I don't remember them being horrifically expensive. $150 maybe? I could be wrong. I had mine installed almost 30 years ago and only had to replace the spring on it once.

I have a garage door opener.  It was already installed when I bough my condo and the only thing that I had to do was to reset the code on the remote.  But then the power outlet where I plug it in crapped out on me and I'm pretty sure that I'll need to get an electrician to fix that. :P However, that's irrelevant right now because my garage is filled with stuff and there is no room in there for my car, even if the outlet did work. :-\

So... I came across this during my travels today...

-Isn't water a liquid?

This reminds me of a picture that I took:
