Nope. :)

Voldemort is basically a middle school girl: he has a locket, a diary, a tiara, a ring, and is completely obsessed with a teenage boy.

Last night, I watched the documentary on Grey Gardens and enjoyed it.  I don't know the details of the backstage drama with the show’s producers, the Gondas, so I don't know what I'm missing.  Right afterwards was another documentary called "Inheritance," about a woman whose father was a Nazi named Amon Goeth, and he was played by Ralph Fiennes in "Schindler's List."  Here's what the PBS website says about it:

Imagine watching Schindler's List and knowing the sadistic Nazi camp commandant played by Ralph Fiennes was your father. Inheritance is the story of Monika Hertwig, the daughter of mass murderer Amon Goeth. Hertwig has spent her life in the shadow of her father's sins, trying to come to terms with her "inheritance." She seeks out Helen Jonas, who was enslaved by Goeth and who is one of the few living eyewitnesses to his unspeakable brutality. The women's raw, emotional meeting unearths terrible truths and lingering questions about how the actions of our parents can continue to ripple through generations.

Talk about powerful.  It was very emotional and very well done.

Inheritance is streaming in its entirety until January 4, 2009.  You can see the whole documentary on-line.  I highly recommend it, but it is fairly graphic.  It's not for those with delicate conditions.

My dad loves history (he got his B.A. in history after retiring from the army).  My mom is German and was born in 1942.  I don't think she'll ever see it (she doesn't talk much about the war) but my dad might.

After singing the Chistmas Eve service, DH Jayson and Zach and I will be driving 3.5 hours to the southern NJ shore, where we will be joining my family for the next three days.

So, if Joshie loves you, and you love Christmasvillagetown, then does it follow that Joshie loves Christmasvillagetown?

Jose, are you indeed bringing cookies tomorrow?  And if so, do you know what kind, or will it be a spur-of-the-moment decision?

Joshie would love Christmasvillagetown. He would bat it all over the living room.

The Little Orange Kitten would have loved it, too.

With just a little effort, we could probably easily take this to page 3.

Christmas Eve morning greetings!  Like DR Elmore's, our Tuesday evening plans were iced out, too.  My niece drove from Illinois (in the storm) and was to pick up my mom and aunt and bring them here for dinner and presents.  She got to Mom's and we decided not to risk having them come here, so Richard, Rob, Mary Linda, and I had a nice dinner and watched the latest X-Files movie.  I left the dining room table set for 7, in case we decide to have our celebration today.

DR TCB - I'm so sorry to hear about Stan's setback.  Vibes to him and to you.
