And about 24 hours from now, my parents, my brother, Mike, and my nieces and nephew should be arriving in New York City!!!! YEAH!!!!!!

*Which is another reason I'm pretty sure I'm just staying in and taking it easy today. The list of things that John Michael, Alexandra and Alyssa want to do in the span of 36 hours is going to require a well-rested Uncle Jojo.

DR Jennifer - "Top Chef" has never been based in Las Vegas. They were based in San Francisco (Season 1) Los Angeles (2), Miami (3), Chicago (4) and now New York (5).

Now, the second season of "The Next Food Network Star" did finish in Las Vegas, and "Hell's Kitchen" has also had a Vegas tie-in.

And it's currently around 60 degrees in Richmond, VA, right now, and supposed to get into the mid-60s here in NYC tomorrow. -And in the low-70s tomorrow in Virginia.

I think for a number of reasons, MAD MEN was my favorite viewing last season.

I liked Project Runway, but MAD MEN has a well cast ensemble and some intriguing writing, besides being set in one of favorite time periods....the just barely remembered past of 1963.......

My favorite moment - one of many - was the episode when Don Draper bought a huge Cadillac.....yelled at his kids to keep the upholstery clean....took his wife to a big party where she had some drinks - and found out Don was having an affair with the wife of a Borscht Belt comic....

They argued on the way home....Don's deceit and life choices were finally too much for Betty - and she threw up....all over his new Cadillac.....

Jose - If you actually have a copy of the score for Pal Joey somewhere in the apartment, does that mean you'd have the accompaniment for the whole song, or would it just mean you have a lead sheet for the whole show?

That is so weird. It says in my tv guide that they are repeating Top Chef Las Vegas???

And in a few weeks PROJECT RUNWAY CANADA will be starting season 2 with Iman as host again. I wonder if you guys can watch it on youtube.

DR jose, i just matched the episode titles listed on foodtv.ca and it is season 1 they are showing in its entirety. Yeah! (that is the only season i have not seen).

It says the finale was in Vegas and for some reason that is what their program listings titled the show. Not sure if it's true or not.

It has continued to be gray and drab. It may have misted while I was watching stuff this afternoon, but otherwise no heavy downpours. And it's not really cold, just unappealing.

That makes sense. I have no idea why they are calling it Top Chef Las Vegas. Oh well it does not really matter.

It looks like they are also reshowing season 4 which i have already seen. I love when they do marathons.

By wed i will have nothing to watch. Only 2 1/2 more episodes of TRUE BLOOD left. I'll probably watch those tonight.
