There were poems and songs on Laugh In!

All of our Christmas decorations are packed away, except for the angel collection.  That can wait until Monday.

I have yet to put away Christmas decorations! (I just store the tree in a cupboard each year - as is! No it's not a real tree).

I wonder if they have snow in Portland OR?

Any suggestions out there for songs that will be nominated for Oscars?

Wall-E 's song by Peter Gabriel would be first on my list.  The song from the James Bond film is not worthy IMHO.

I forgot about THE BILL COSBY SHOW--with Foster Brooks and Susan Tolsky(?).

I wonder what DR Jose found amusing in his story about the man discussing the walk route with his dog.

 ;D

While listening to Keith carry on a conversation with Sherlock I was reminded of Jose's story.

I guess the John Travolta/Miley Cyrus song will get a nod too.

I guess "Thank You For The Music" is a possibility from MAMMA MIA.

It has started kind of snowing here but it's not to last--they are forcasting it all turning to rain this evening.

The same year that SNL premiered, ABC was touting Howard Cossel as the next Ed Sullivan with his own LIVE ON SATURDAY NIGHT (or words to that effect) variety hour.  The only good thing to come of that is a surviving clip of Gwen Verdon and Chita Rivera doing a medley from CHICAGO.

And I do feel a bit "sad" that I'll be missing the snow in NYC today, but I'm still not sure how I feel about missing the No Pants! Subway 2k9 Ride;D

And speaking of that, what is this thing about Steve Guttenberg jogging without pants in Central Park?  Is it some in-joke that I don't know about?

I think he was looking for our DR Jose and the Reservoir and got lost. Another possibility: a desperate bid to be noticed.

Thanks DR FJL.  I'm quite fond of the movie.  English singer Mike Preston had a top 40 hit with the song here.

Let's see - I did the long jog.  I then wrote the rest of the chapter (four pages) and then printed out all fifty-seven pages I've done thus far, which I'll go have Xeroxed later this afternoon.  Then I did some errands, shipped some packages, and then I began putting in the Nudie changes and got through all of act one.  I'll start act two later today, or maybe in the morning.  And I still have to finish the long script, too, which I'll definitely do before the end of the evening.
