I'm trying to figure out if there's a way to make this bigger as a profile photo

Wow, the weight loss really shows Cil. You look great!

No, there is no way to make the profile picture bigger. It's due to the software apparently. Old pictures that were already in the system show up at a viewable size but anything added since the switch to the new software is thumbnail size.

Posting your picture within the post does allow the picture to enlarge so you can really see yourself.

Thanks Ben!  I was hoping if I posted it that it would then be in the uploaded photo folder, but it isn't.

We have a new scanner. Well, not really. The scanner here in the city suddenly stopped working. I don't know why. The software would try to load but nothing happened with the machine. I removed the software and re-installed it but, again, nothing. We tried using it through the Windows Wizard but it just sat there like so much fish. Anthony has (had) a scanner on Long Island. We were out there for the long weekend and he was going to scan things he needed. Strangely enough the software on the Long Island scanner stopped working. The scanner itself worked (something the city scanner did not do) but the software was wonky. Again, I took off that software and reloaded it to no avail. Luckily, we could get the scanner to work through the Windows Wizard. It works fine and it's easier to use through the Wizard than with the old software. We can't use it as a copy machine or to send e-mail but we never used it to send e-mail and we rarely used it as a copy machine so no loss. When we returned to the city on Monday we brought the scanner with us and it works perfectly! We saved $100 since we were looking to replace the old scanner. Ah, technology!

Jose, did you know that Totally Baked has totally closed? Too bad. It was a fun place but I'm not surprised. It sounds like a good idea, a baked potato restaurant, but I'm sure it's not easy to pull off.

Thanks MBarnum.

Just got off the phone with Adam, guess my brother had a mild heart attack. With the stent in, he should recover quite well and will hopefully go home tomorrow

WEEKEND IN HAVANA was quite enjoyable.  I haven't seen it in decades.  Alice Faye had such a pretty singing voice and John Payne and Cesar Romero were both very handsome.  And Carmen Miranda always makes me laugh.

Good news the attack was mild & he can go home so soon.  How long a drive back is it?

It's about a 90 minute drive.  Adam drove the 4 1/2 hours from Des Moines today and will follow them back home and stay until he's settled. So Samantha, Adam and their mother are all there with him.

I think that idiot Ann Colter is on Dr Phil's show today. If no one gave that horror the time of day, perhaps she'd fade into oblivion.

As long as she remains a best-selling, provokative  author she'll stay front and center.

der Brucer

She's #2 on NYT Hardcover nonfiction this week

It's even sadder that many people are buying into her bilge.

Something repulsive, something convulsive,
Something for everyone...
