I'm not sure that made sense.  I think.  Or not.

I did catch part of UGLY BETTY. I got all weepy at the end and I've loved Lauren Velez ever since the funny I THINK I DO.

OH!  Go watch the second act of Into the Woods now!

;)

Why for God's sake?

I guess it didn't.  ;)

MR BK - I think the best thing you can do this evening is watch ATTACK OF THE 50 FOOT WOMAN - with it's stunning visuals and rousing Ronald Stein score.

Remember that the two major motivations for any human behavior are LOVE or JEALOUSY.

One of them makes the world go 'round - the other is completely useless and never accomplishes anything constructive.

I know which one motivates me to come to HHW every day - many times a day.

In a way, for me, it's kind of like those kids that go see RENT or SPRING AWAKENING time after time...a feeling of being connected to the wonderful world of entertainment - sharing time and words with those who actually make their living in that wacky world - and hearing about the lives of all the other people gathered here from all over the U.S. and beyond - being part of the larger world.

HHW is a unique place on the web.  I don't even think "blog" is the proper term for it.  It is a community.  The nice thing is - anyone can be a part of it...I don't like it when there is a disturbance...

And if nothing else....just start singing the song that plays at the beginning of the radio show.

Good evening all.  Well, I caught up on three days worth of posts, and I'm tired out!  We went through another round of illness with Tobes, thankfully just a cold, but it's left me desperately sleep deprived.  Glad to be back where I belong, on HHW

Years & years ago we had two very, very very good friends.  They were best friends with each other.  Friend #1 was frustrated with friend #2 & kept telling us stuff about friend #2 we didn’t need to hear, much of what were negative comments about us.  Some of it was pretty bad.

I am very pleased to say we did not let it ruin our friendships.  They are still best friends while we are still in touch with friend #1, & still very, very good friends with #2.

I will admit this was so long ago I’m the only one that remembers the details.

So, funny lady, after reading Mae-Ling's reason for coming to visit you, when are you sending me something good to eat?

I do believe I'm going to go watch RENT: FILMED LIVE ON BROADWAY.

(I do know two people in that final cast from their days at CMU).

Anyone have any opinions on this particular film version?

LOL. A jar of Ragu, a bag of turkey meatballs out of the freezer, and a package of angel hair pasta is her definition of good cooking.

She loved the bit about throwing the pasta at the wall to see if it was done. She laughed and laughed at that.

I had fried chicken for dinner - from Popeye's.  Haven't done that in ages and ages and I just felt I needed it.  Happily, they screwed up and only gave me one biscuit, so I didn't overdo that.  I had two chicken breasts, one of which was really tiny, so that's good, too.  So, now I'm thinking about a sweet - I'll toddle over to Gelson's and take a gander at what they've got.  Maybe some fruit, maybe some biscotti, maybe something wholly other.

Because I now would not put anything past him, if anyone receives a copy of any e-mail I sent IN RESPONSE to the awful e-mails I was receiving, in other words OUT OF CONTEXT, please let me know.  I will then post each and every e-mail here so you can see what I was dealing with today.  I hope I don't have to do that, but anyone who would forward a private PM is not to be trusted.

I did catch part of UGLY BETTY. I got all weepy at the end and I've loved Lauren Velez ever since the funny I THINK I DO.

She's always wonderful. She was great on OZ and she's currently sensational on DEXTER. And a wonderful match for Ignacio on UGLY BETTY.

And is it just me or have the makeup folks been using some hair dye and more makeup on Tony Plana so the difference in their ages wouldn't look SO pronounced.

I watched three (or four) more episodes of MURDER SHE WROTE. (They all kind of start to meld together in my head after awhile.) I think I have six more to do.

Next, I skimmed through today's AS THE WORLD TURNS. Yep, the boys were there, but the progress on their murder investigation is going to be slow going (typical of soaps).

The haters and naysayers will never win in the end.

And what of the "whozzits" and "whatzits"?  Surely they cannot win,  either!

I've received two e-mails today as, I assume, has everyone here.

As soon as I realized who it was from and what it was about, I was more over it than I was over the concept of President George Bush in January 2001.

What the hell do I have to do with any of this, I asked myself.  Myself answered rather vigorously that something was awry, amiss and askew.

All that BK has written, thus far, has led me to the conclusion that myself was accurate.

Next, I enjoyed UGLY BETTY. I just love Judith Light, and the woman looked dazzling in that white gown at the end of the show. Just stunning. Glad to see some chinks in Whilamina's armor starting to show, too. Makes it much easier to root for her romance.

GREY'S ANATOMY came next.

Nice way to write Melissa George off the show, and that's fine with me. I hated her on ALIAS and I didn't like her here. I thought the Izzy-contest storyline was kind of silly, but it was entertaining.
