DR JMK - Congrats on the new wheels!  Did you do a trade-in? or was this an outright(?) purchase?

We traded in the 1993 Subaru I had inherited when my parents died.  It had been a great little car, but at 16 or so years old it was starting to show its age.

I just "activated" OnStar and now have a car with its own phone number.  Oy.  :)

LOVE Indian food & rarely get it.

Most the time I tolerate Greek food.  Once I had great food at a Greek restaurant & now I'm more open to trying it again.

All I'll say is never accept a car dealer's first "final" offer.  ;)

Today, I went to my sister's house and we played M&M's Monopoly.  My sister won...big time.  Then I came home and watched tonight's "Kyle XY" and now I'm watching last night's "Brothers and Sisters."  Then, I'll watch tonight's ABC NBC line-up.

Another big storm is headed for Phoenix:

So, does this mean you have headache? knee-ache? back-ache? itchy nose?

My ankle knows something is afoot.  I thought it was just the many walks with Sugar today, but it's little more than that.  Quite livable, though.  (well, I guesss it has to be).  We'll see how tonight goes.

I am having to get back my stick shift mojo again, especially since we're in such a hilly neighborhood.

And, yes, I was completely anal about parking the car away from all others when I just went to the store.  ;)  I was mortified when I came out and saw that some idiot had parked right next to me.  I want to make it through a week or so before I get any door dings.  :)

Good evening.  DH Jed and I have just returned from a lovely meal with our DCF (Dear Cyber Father) Tom.  We ate at a delicious pizza and salad buffet.  The salad bar only had paper plates, which was odd, but we attributed it to a "parents night out" event that seemed to be taking place there, which involved lots of kids and moms and dads running around.  Perhaps they thought paper plates were safest.
DS Toby was on great behavior, thankfully, and a wonderful time was had by all.  We talked and laughed and laughed and talked.  Always wonderful to see Tom.

Now to load the dishwasher and get Toby to bed, then to bed myself.

Umm... You ate dinner out tonight - with DR TCB... The restaurant had paper plates... And you still have to load the dishwasher?  Hmm...

I think I shall go wireless. I went to Best Buy today to look at printers/scanners since mine seems to not like to work. A clerk offered his assistance and we got to talking about wireless...I asked him if Comcast offered wireless, and he informed me what the internet provider does not provied the wireless but that I just needed to get a wireless router...well who knew?

He showed the contraptions to me and helped me pick one out.

So how many here at HHW use wireless? Was it painless to hook up?

I wonder if people will be surprised that their TVs don't work.

Around here, even if you live under a rock or in a cave, you have had someone tell you 1000 times a week about the digital conversion

We use wireless, it couldn't be easier, and it's essential with our laptops.  We can use them anywhere in the house.

Thanks Ann and Jose. I am looking at reviews to see if the router I bought is a good one, or if I should look for something else.

If anyone has recommendations just holler.
