One GUEST was looking at an old thread from October of 2004 - there was Francois and Jay, and especially there was young dear readers Jenny and Maya - I'd love to know how the latter two are doing.  I know Francois is alive and well because he ordered Anya.

Well, I need to go to bed now.  I'm going to a matinée of Footloose and need to get up earlier than I really want to...for a Sunday.

Good night, BK.

At the risk of being bitch-slapped, I have nothing noteworthy to add at this time.

I got up so early on Saturday morning that I climbed into bed at 6 p.m. and went to sleep.

BEWARE THE IDES OF MARCH!

The Ides of March (Latin: Idus Martias) is the name of the date 15 March in the Roman calendar. The term ides was used for the 15th day of the months of March, May, July, and October, and the 13th day of the other eight months. In Roman times, the Ides of March was a festive day dedicated to the god Mars and a military parade was usually held. In modern times, the term Ides of March is best known as the date that Julius Caesar was assassinated, in 44 BC, the story of which was famously dramatized in William Shakespeare's play Julius Caesar.

WARNING WARNING DANGER WILL ROBINSON
HOWARD THE DUCK IS FINALLY BEING RELEASE ON DVD!!

I think it is one of the worst movies I ever saw in all the years I have been going to the cinema.

The following blurb makes it sound if it is a classic!

One of the most talked-about movies of all time, Howard the Duck, lands on DVD for the first time ever in an all-new Special Edition! From executive producer George Lucas and the pages of Marvel Comics comes this unbelievably funny comedy about a fast-talking, cigar-chomping, beer-loving duck from a parallel universe who crashes to Earth. Featuring brand-new bonus features, a digitally remastered picture and new 5.1 surround sound, Howard the Duck Special Edition is a hidden treasure the whole family can enjoy.

I can' t believe it's only 8:30am. I've been up for hours!

I just noticed that tonight on tv is very busy at 10pm. In canada in addition to Brothers & Sisters, Celebrity Apprentice, we also have tuesday's Mentalist and Damages!

And since I got the OK from the tax office to take a quick trip to visit my parents (with my brother and sister-in-law) in Florida Wednesday the 18th through Friday the 20th, I kind of agreed with the office that I'd give more time until Tuesday the 17th to minimize any problems while I'm gone.
