spread-eagle

Perhaps she was confused, and thought she was playing the bus and truck of Chicago?
Or, perhaps, Cinderella in Into the Woods?

As I remember, Cinderella was wearing a gown.

Well, then, did you look at the ceilings? Doorknobs? Light fixtures?

Happy Green day to all!

TOD:

today's:  A production of "Macbeth" expressed solely in the dance and an all nude version of "Hamlet."

Knotts)  and Johnny Carson are still the tops.

Friday's TOD:  "The Best of Mama Cass" and "The Best of Spanky and Our Gang"  (which amounted to about three songs in the case of the latter)

Boo and hiss, Kerry!  I love all of Spanky and Our Gang's songs

In the mail today from NetFlix, Mama Mia.  I wonder how long Keith will last watching it.  I have a feeling I will not see the end of the movie.  I'll let you know.

Speaking of Bryan.  I went to the dermatologist today & having been an older student herself, she suggested Bryan think about dermatology.  His response was..

"Kind of a long shot, plus I don't know if I would want to deal with people's gross skin conditions all day.  We just saw some derm patients last week.  It was pretty bad, had two of these guys..."

Jane, tell Bryan that I think that is a very wise idea.  Stick to proctology!

Good afternoon everyone.

The last 2 days of posts are really good.  I think I'll just keep quiet since I can't add anything interesting.

Just got back from the Hal Linden show at the Crest Theater in Delray Beach. As DR Arnold Brockman said It was one of the best shows every done there and I agree. A slick well put together show. Wonderful orchestrations and arrangements amusing banter and is amazing at 78 years old!! (As of March 20th)

I think I better skip the word of the day. I don't know what to do with the definition.

Yes and no.  It was wonderful to be away from the nightmare at our office, but maybe I should consider giving up traveling altogether.

Hope everyone is having a wonderful St. Patrick's Day.   See you in 3 hours or so.

Must survey for spiders in the apartment now, it's been warm the last couple of afternoons and the spiders are  moving about to freely for me.

No one got their Anya or Rio today?  I've had reports that a few people on the film music board got theirs.

bk - I'm glad QuikBook.com worked out for you.  I've walked by the Chelsea Wyndham a couple of times, looks like a good hotel.  I also believe that all the hotels available on QuikBook.com have been "approved" by the QuikBook's staff - and if any customer happens to have a problem with the hotel, then the customer can report any problems back to QuikBook.

*You can also follow them on Twitter: @QuikBook -So that you can get advance notice of any upcoming sales.

**They also handle hotels in other cities, and, after just taking a glance at the site, if anyone has been thinking of planning a trip to DC this summer... -There's a $67(!!!)/weekend night special for the Latham in Georgetown right now!

I'm off to Florida tomorrow, leaving for the airport at 7:45, which for me is very early.  I'll be back late Friday night.

In silliness, about five seconds of one of the Helen-Reddy-mix parodies started off a Jeanne Moos report.

Here's the link to Jeanne Moos' CNN report.  It's about five or six seconds at the very start of the report, and that's it, but what the heck?

http://www.cnn.com/video/#/video/offbeat/2009/03/17/moos.mocking.ceos.cnn

(There's a short commercial first.)
