I watched the next episode on THE UNIVERSE Blu-ray set. This one was called "Spaceship Earth" going into the Earth's history in the universe. Very interesting.

Thanks, Laura.  yes, it should be fun, although we'll likely get a few health-related supportive things accomplished.

In silliness, about five seconds of one of the Helen-Reddy-mix parodies started off a Jeanne Moos report.

Here's the link to Jeanne Moos' CNN report.  It's about five or six seconds at the very start of the report, and that's it, but what the heck?

(There's a short commercial first.)

Then I decided I wanted to see a musical in high definition, so I put in THAT'S ENTERTAINMENT III and thoroughly enjoyed all of it.

Next I watched tonight's NCIS. Not one of the better episodes. A very anticlimactic conclusion, not very satisfying.

THE MENTALIST had a very entertaining episode.

But why are cops such bad shots?

I'm off to Florida tomorrow, leaving for the airport at 7:45, which for me is very early.  I'll be back late Friday night.

I had a friend drop in for a little bit this evening. So, that got me a little behind in watching AMERICAN IDOL.

The Resident Artists down here happened to watch "The Jerk" over the weekend.  They've been quoting and quoting and quoting from it ever since.  ::)

I was fine with the person who went home on DWS.  I don't think the dance off is a good idea though. After standing there waiting and waiting, the energy to dance again just doesn't seem to be there

Shut Your Trap.  I like that - I think it should be the name of a new play.

Or a game show!  Three contestants are each given a real juicy piece of gossip.  The one who keeps his or her mouth shut the longest wins.

I would love to go to New York in May, however, since I'm making the carpet tour of Vegas in June, I think my NYC trip will have to wait until later in the year

I'm going to an Immigration Law seminar there. The registrations must really be down because they keep sweetening the pot.  They are giving away a free seminar later, free access to an online library for 2 months, all sorts of discounts at the hotel (restaurants and bars), a payment plan and money to gamble with.  They haven't offered any of that in the past.

So, I only saw through Alexis' "Jolene" song. I thought hers was the weakest vocal. In fact, all three women I saw chose songs that had notes too low for them to sing comfortably. Adam's song was strange, but it was entertaining.

That's great, DR FJL!  Maybe they'll do a Jeremy Piven Story next.

Well, I managed to get home without killing myself this evening.  That was a big plus.  This evening, I was chatting with the conductor of Footloose in the pit when all of a sudden, the foldable keyboard bench I was sitting on collapsed and managed to put my left calf into a vice.  And as I was still sitting on the bench, it was squeezing my calf.  Well, we managed to get my leg free and assessed the damage.  The bench... broken.  I had a small cut in my leg from the metal on the bench, my calf isn't really in pain,  but it is sore.  Tomorrow, I can assume that the area witll be black and blue.  Thanks to my walking for exercise and carrying the weight I do, my calves are in fabulous shape.  Had they not been, it would have hurt a helluva a lot more. I think I messed up my left elbow when I went down, or it's piano elbow from the deceptionaly difficult score for Footloose.

I'm going to take some Advil and go to bed.
