Do you call the mind "Mariah"?

She told me she prefers "Ms. Wind".  And she spells it Maria, to everyone's confusion.

What if "They Call The Wind Maria" had been written for the citizens of River City, Iowa?

A way out west they have a name
For rain and wind and fire.
The rain is rain, the fire is fire
And they call the wind wind.

Oh... I guess I'm still here.  I decided to go ahead and make and consume some lunch here in order to curb the temptations while I'm out and about.

A guy just came up to the door, from a paving company, asking if we'd like to have our driveway sealed.

I refrained from asking him just how many seals would have to give up their lives to cover our driveway.  I didn't think he'd appreciate the question.

Do I get any "redemption points" for slogging through two hours of Nora Roberts' Northern Lights so as to catch a few glimpses of Eddie Cibrian's lovely physique?

Didn't the bus and truck play Phoenix recently, starring Donny Osmond?

Yes, it began at the Guthrie Theatre in Minneapolis last year. It was a HUGE success, sold out in hours and extended. It got lukewarm reviews but it's successful enough that they have begun a National Tour. It will kick off at the Papermill Playhouse in New Jersey and move around the country. It is based on the television series and the book I believe and Melissa Gilbert is playing the Mother. Steve Blanchard is playing Michael Landon

Yep. It just premiered at The Guthrie in Minneapolis, and, apparently, got pretty good reviews.  It will be touring next year.  -And, yes, Melissa Gilbert is playing "Ma".

*I also played a couple of auditions for the show, some pretty nice music, imho. The composer is Rachel Portman.

Here's the info from Playbill.com: Little House Tour to Feature Gilbert, Blanchard and Lindsay

I remember when Eddie Cibrian was on "The Young & The Restless".  He had lots of "poolside" time.  ;)  -Alas, the character he was playing ended up being a rapist, so... :-\

And, of course, the Scandal du Jour a few days ago was the revelation that LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian ended up having an affair during(?) the filming of said TV movie.

Thanks. Is it on a pre-Broadway tour? Or just a tour?

It's just a tour now. I think they don't want to bring it to Broadway just yet. It could end up here but there is enough money to be made on the tour that they don't need to spend the large amounts it will take to mount it in New York.

*They recently changed up their "Golden Girls" block causing much drama for some members of their viewing audience.  ;)
