With thanks to DR JOSE for telling me how to do that.

I could post Abercrombie and Fitch photos, but there wouldn't be much point in that now, would there?

Of course I am still waiting for the release of the Met's DOCTOR ATOMIC.....still not at Amazon.com.
I am not enjoying the earlier production quite as much.

Tail As Old As Time

Well, considering it's DR Ron Pulliam, "old" is the operative word.      ;)

Did the Old Ladies use their walkers yet?

The walkers and the Old Ladies had their maiden strolls last night.  No was injured. No one died. And that's all that matter for now. :)

DR DakotaCelt - Is their a designated "safe area" in Fargo right now? Are parts of the university being used as shelters?

I was just looking at Eric Gunhus's website...the original "Springtime for Hitler" tenor.  Who actually held the role for the entire Broadway run.  He's now in "Billy Elliot."

Yes, I do have waterproof boots. The area I am in is a tad higher than the southend of Fargo. The south neighborhoods would be sacrificed first. Since the river flows north the channel deepens and widens as it goes north. I know in 1997 they were using garbage trucks in Moorhead on the manholes to hold them down due to the pressure from the water.

the area that is safe is west of broadway... THe four blocks within the range of the river are in the most danger especially in the Lindennwood, RoseCreek, Forest Hills and Cedar Run areas in South Fargo. They are along the river. Oxbow and Hickson are just to the south of that along the river. In Moorhead it is everything west of 8th and south of i-94.

ASK BK DAY

Did you know Tony Dow before you worked with him on that kiddies show project, and have you seen him since?

No, I'd never met him - but he had such a great persona I knew he'd be our perfect host.

I have always liked Ian McKellan as an actor. William Gaunt is good also. Fine photo of both of them.

I am off to work... I may take off early from work if the library is empty and break down and go to walmart [even though i dispise shopping there] to get some rubbermaid containers to put DF clothes in that he has already shipped up here.

I can live with seepage....

I will try to check in...

Campus is safe... unless water backs up into the sewer...

TOD:

Question for BK:
Now that the liner notes for Ilya, Darling! are done and it's too late to change them  :-*, do you include anything about Lehman Engel being fired as conductor out of town?  As I recall, he gave an interview to a newspaper where he was complaining about the direction musical theatre was going, and he said something like, "It's hard for audiences to develop sympathy for a one-eyed Turkish prostitute..."  Although he insisted he was not speaking about the current show (she was, after all, Greek and had two beautiful eyes), the remark was taken personally, and he was canned.  He mentions it in one of his books.

I watched Monday night's HEROES while I ate lunch. The identity of REBEL would have been a bigger surprise if I hadn't been paying attention to the opening credits. Still, nice seeing that character again. The "flight of fancy" sequence was quite magical with a big surprise ending.

But I do miss Nathan and Sylar when they aren't there.

Then, I watched THE YELLOW ROLLS-ROYCE.

The first segment looked kind of soft and the color looked dated. The other two segments were in much better shape, and there were some shots in the third segment that were of startling quality.

I assume the movie always had a mono audio track, but I'd love to have heard some of that delightful score in stereo or surround.

We haven't done a Disney Cruise yet.  In fact, he hasn't even been to Walt Disney World yet.  YET - I say, as for his combination Valentine's Day/Birthday/Anniversary gift from me was a trip to WDW and we are going in October.

As for the "must try" bakeries and patisseries, good luck convincing him that someone knows more than him :)  Those Germans are STUBBORN!  :)    However, I know you could teach him a thing or two about NYC :)
