Bill - How is Joe doing?

Worse and better.  That's the long and the short of it.  Worse symptoms, more push to overcome them.

And you?

Deb,

How is the sense of taste? Does orange juice still taste awful?

On a related note, was wondering if DR vixmom had seen THIS article?

Sleuth is also part of an answer to a Trivia Question

What 2 films had the entire cast nominated for Academy Awards?

Sleuth is one.

Anyone know the other?

re: high school musical 3 being a feature film.

It's not weird since the franchise is so successful. But i guess it was interesting to me because the movies seem wonderful for tv, yet slightly less so for shelling out money at the theatre.

I guess maybe their target audience of 5-15 doesn't care if their parents shell out money.

I did enjoy the movie because of the choreography and interesting musical numbers.  It just didn't seem enough to me though for the theatres.

I thought AMERICAN IDOL was very interesting last night.

*

To me there was one person who was a complete star, and that is my favorite, Adam.  But wow, i do not think i would have recognized him!!!!

Interesting that they said less positive things about their two former favorites, Lil Rounds and Danny Gokey. And now they are huge champions of Matt Giraud.

I hope michael sarver goes (just never cared for him). But the judges were really hard on another of their past favorites, megan. I hope it's michael that goes over megan or scott.

The judges were also wild about alison again!

Good morning!

Another cold, gray day. It's been drizzling off and on this morning, but currently there is no rain. A bit foggy, though, and definitely not pleasant outside.

WHO'S AFRAID OF VIRGINIA WOOLF is often listed as a movie in which the entire cast was nominated, but that's a mistake. The roadhouse manager where they stop and dance was not nominated, so VIRGINIA WOOLF doesn't qualify.

My little experiment with the wireless keyboard has come to an end. I don't know if the level where I had the keyboard was causing it to malfunction or if I just couldn't strike the keys with firmness, but I kept having typing errors that weren't my fault. (I admit readily that I'm a miserable typist, but I don't often make mistakes with spaces between words, and the space bar was consistently not registering when I struck it.) I thought maybe the batteries were weak, but switching them out last night had no effect on the keyboard's accuracy, so I put it away and went back to a corded keyboard. I like the strike feel and "clicky" quality of this keyboard much better anyway.

The UPS truck passed right by my door this morning, so I guess there are no review discs in the offing, at least not for now. There is another delivery in the afternoon, so perhaps something will arrive then. Otherwise, I'll have another free day.

I will watch the rest of ON THE OTHER HAND DEATH (which I'm watching for the second time)

I will watch another NCIS episode.

I'd like to watch another gay-themed movie, perhaps SHELTER from last year.

Thursday morning greetings!  It's a very gloomy day here in SW Ohio.  I'm still bonding with my new MacBook.  Tonight my book group is meeting to discuss Amy Stewart's Flower Confidential:  The Good, the Bad, and the Beautiful.

With UGLY BETTY gone for awhile and no BONES tonight, this frees up a little time to watch other things. I have three shows from last night on the DVR, and I'll still have to watch GREY'S ANATOMY "live" since there are shows on two other networks at 9 which will need to be recorded. Then, at 10, I get my own time back and can watch something already recorded either from last night or earlier this evening.

After reading so many wonderful comments here on HHW, I watched the (now canceled) LIFE ON MARS last night, and I liked it very much.

Good Morning!

I'm up, I'm up... And I've already had a production meeting.  Which I probably didn't need to be at since I had no "technical-musical concerns".  But at least it got me out of the apartment before 9:00am... And since I have a rehearsal at Noon, well... Ah, well.

*But, at least the rehearsal at Noon is a catch-up rehearsal for my "favorite" cast member. ;)
