They just raised the crest to 43  feet... *&*&^%% !!!!!

:o NNOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!! :P

It can't be THAT bad for her...she's still sitting there typing instead of headin' for the hills!

True. :)

The situation in Fargo is very serious. She may be taking breaks from helping with the sandbagging or something.

I agree with Laura. It's very bad and we have asked her to keep us informed. I'm glad she's stopping by to let us know.

I haven't a problem with being kept informed.

I get the impression from some posts, however, that a few readers believe she's only inches from being swept away even as she types.  I believe she'll be evacuated before that happens.

A first-hand account of her worries and observations about such terrible conditions, and efforts to circumvent them, is not an issue with me.

BK

I have re-reading most of your notes from the couple of weeks or so. I didn't realize until reading for the second time that the notes neglected to mention something.

From Round Every Corner

You talk about working on film that you took over the director's chair.

The title was missing which was Prime Suspect

and the name of your pseudonym which was Mark Rutland.

Where did you get the name Mark Rutland from and why didn't you use Alan Smithee?

Mark Rutland is Sean Connery's character's name in Marnie.  I had to use a pseudonym because it was a non-DGA show and I'm DGA.

funny story:  my friend who has a home in Oregon, got a speeding ticket 102mph on the coast hwy, is now back in LA to start a movie on Monday.  They revoked his license, and his wife is driving him to location every day for a week.  He was worried about being too old for the cast and crew of this movie, but I think this will take care of that.

I will don my curmudgeon's cloak for a moment and say that 102 mph on Oregon's 101 is INSANE!!  It is a tiny, two-lane highway for most of its length, with sheer cliffs on one side.  Your friend needs to think about the other drivers on the road.

hi JMK,     that's what the judge said.  102 is not speeding, I believe the charge is reckless endangerment?

I believe Chitty was reissued by Varese sans dialogue.

Yes, it was and the remastering sounded better too!

However, the previous sound bites were so short that they were hardly a nuisance really!

Varese also re-released TOM SAWYER ...
