I was only supposed to be working 4 or 5 hours a day but they have been so busy that I have been working 6 - 7 and it is just a little more than I can handle at the moment

Tomorrow I will only be working 3 hours because I have an appointment with the ear doctor at 12:45. He is going to see if he can restore my hearing by putting tubes in my ears. Right now I am totally deaf in my right ear and have maybe 60% hearing in my left

BK I have not had a paycheck in over 3 months - the paycheck I will finally be getting this week will be for only 60 hours and I have bills to pay - so I am afraid I will not ordering the latest Kritzerland release this time around

Here is my advice and I'm sure others would concur - do NOT push yourself - you just got over a very serious illness and you should not be pushing yourself in any way, shape, or form.

Did you find out anything about the Senator's transformation in the original production of Finian's Rainbow? There was also productions in 1955 & 1960 I wonder how they did it.

The film version is not blackface, but he wears black makeup. (Lena Horne's Egyptian #9?)

No, my problem is that the radiation swelled my ear canals and I also have fluid trapped behind the ear drums. They thought the problem would resolve itself but since it's been 2 months since the last radiation treatment and there has been no progress the Oncology Surgeon and ENT decided that it was time to try some treatment

You are right - it has just been so busy inteh office and the other 2 ladies are coming in 2 hours early and staying two hours late and I just feel terrible abandoning them when there is so much work - but they are all being very supportive and never give me grief when I do leave

Not really foolish, but more embarrassing.

Back in 1978 I had just finished reading a book about CBS (Something Bloodshot Eye. Don't remember the exact title) It mentioned Ken Berry and his wife Jackie Joseph.

I was involved with a TV series where Ken Berry was the guest artist and I asked him during a break, "How is your lovely wife Jackie Joseph?" His reply, "We're divorced" The broke up the year before and the book didn't mention this. Boy was I embarrased!!

My goal was to find out what he looked like after the transformation, not how it was achieved. I suspect he did very little makeup at the time of the transformation since he was facing upstage with his back to the audience, and after he got offstage he applied the necessary makeup.

I listen to lots of British Radio but I had not heard of Musical Talk before you pointed it out to me. It's not the show on which my reviews are featured. That's called Showtime on BBC Radio Wales.

I have bookmarked Musical Talk though. It looks like a fun site. I will enjoy investigating it.
