TOD:  Milton Bradley's "Mystery Date" game

Oscar Mayer's "My bologna has a first name...."  The first one with the little kid fishing (The same jingle David Sedaris does Billie Holliday singing)

Chanel #5 -- the first one with the guy coming  out of the pool-- probably one of the classiest, most subtle commercials ever-- "I am made of blue skies and golden light and will feel this way forever."

And just about any Stan Freberg commercial (most especially the Banquet Boil in a bag dinners, the Great American Soup and Cheerios)

Forgive me for this question (but you have to understand I'm a most E and T HHWayer) -- it's not meant to insult Monkey, I honestly don't recall gleaning this info from past posts:

Is Monkey a she Monkey or a he Monkey?

Monkey is DR Jose's Monkey.  Does that answer your question?

Ta-DAH!  The answer is there.

Monkey is a "stuffed" toy and has no gender.

This explanation does nothing to explain the phrase "Spanking the monkey."

Somehow, "good will" doesn't seem like it would be on that fella's agenda!

And was anything more infectiously joyful than the Dr. Pepper commericals with David Naughton

He was very cute in that commercial.

He "was", wasn't he!  And it was a nice contrast to his final scenes in "American Werewolf in London".   :D

Good Afternoon!

Greetings from the Apple Store on Michigan Avenue (a.k.a. The Magnificent Mile).

I'm resting my feet for a bit, as well as recharging my iPhone, and checking my email and such. -And there just happens to be an iPhone demo and Q&A session going on right now too.

And one more for the Topic of the Day...

The AT&T one:

"Then why did he call?"
"He called just to say, "I love you.""

I know that's not the exact wording - and I can't seem to track it down on YouTube right now - but I think that's the one.  ::)

Pretty much, DR JRand58.  The cue list is here.  But I wouldn't recommend it as a teaching aid!    :)

DR MattH, I don't think DWTS is 2 hours. I think there is a comedy stuck in at 9:30pm.

Not according to my listings. SURVIVING SUBURBIA is not listed this week. It wasn't in my morning paper anyway.

I guess we'll see. My morning paper had the same thing as yours (DWTS for 2 hours). But when i checked abc.com they had DWTS for only 1hr 1/2 (it's changed now). It seems odd with only 4 contestants left that they would move to 2 hours. Maybe the sitcom was getting bad ratings? Maybe they want to try to boost CASTLE's ratings??

Was it on State Street, that great street, where they do things they don't do on Broadway?

I've read in another forum that NBC has renewed CHUCK and MEDIUM (plus LAW AND ORDER and SOUTHLAND).

I posted yesterday that it looked like CHUCK and MEDIUM would be renewed today.

But I don't believe that has happened yet.

I'm certain you're right.  Some online outlet announced they "would" be renewed today, but NBC seems to be drawing it out to mid-month now.

If you've been wondering what it's all about here's your choice to get with it and ride it to the top!

One of the "Related Videos" for this trailer is an actual clip from the movie.  And speaking of commercials, the real Colonel Sanders, founder of Kentucky Fried Chicken, is in this clip!
