Does TAR have their finale at 8pm next sunday?

That is the same time as the CELEBRITY APPRENTICE finale? It doesn't really matter for me cause i can catch up on APPRENTICE at 9pm. But how stupid if they put the two finales at the same time!

Yep, DR Jenn--Sunday is the TAR finale.  I doubt that it will be a two hour episode though.

SPOILER -- awww--y'all watched it already, didn't ya?

I guess I could have been satisfied no matter who made the final three.  While my opinions of the three who made it hasn't changed much, I did wind up with more respect for the Kisha half of the Kisha and Jen team.  I wouldn't have minded them being in the final three in place of the redheads (though I did think that Cara did a bang up job with the food thing.)

At this point, unless they make some kind of major misstep, I say that Tammy and Victor will be the winners.

Thanks, DR MBARNUM....although DR DAW's answer was also intriguing.  I was wondering if PP would ever get an official release.

Was PEYTON PLACE ever broadcast in color?

I would say that in the finale there is absolutely no way to predict who will win.
All of these teams have come to the mat first. Obviously tammy/victor are the
strongest. But in a one leg race anybody can win. Plus they won't have the
advantage once they leave china.  I don't think they have been doing as good
lately (they sucked in the swimming challenge) and could have easily been
eliminated there if the other team had known how to swim. I am curious if i
am the only person cheering for the redheads? I think any of the 3 teams
would not be totally upsetting. But i really want to see the first all woman winners!

It did switch to color at the beginning of the 1966 season.  However it NEVER had a hiatus or showed reruns on the network during its original run.....for a total of 514 episodes.

For some reason, the episode where Rita Harrington had her baby still sticks in my mind.  Other than that, the only thing I remember is Allison's lonely walk out of Peyton Place in a crane shot.

Disappointed (though not surprised) to find out that NBC did indeed cancel LIFE.

Oh yes, I remember Allison leaving as well......and earlier when she chopped of her hair....and Cleveland Amory's review in TV GUIDE.... "I don't mind that she can't get a different inflection, but couldn't she at least get a different speed?"

I'm sure even Liza herself would find this funny:

BrianJ on another chat board said:  "If Liza wins, I hope she is gracious enough to salute the other nominees. Hearing her attempts at saying "SLAVA'S SNOWSHOW" and "SOUL OF SHAOLIN" would certainly be a highlight of the telecast."

I purchased visa the inner web - a longer network cord....when it arrives I will set the APPLE IMAC up for my parents so that they will be on the WWW.  I will still be using it and it's programs, but they will also have access in a convenient location in the house.....

I can hardly wait!  Then they will be APPLES and I will be PC.

Anyhoo...

It's been a relatively painless journey so far. I know I got some sleep last night, but I have a feeling a nap or two will be in my future.

Thanks for all the continued Travel Vibes.

The Tonys are on Sunday June 7 at 8pm, 7 central

I gave that date to the "Romeo & Juliet" people as a rehearsal conflict. ;D

But I did tell them that if it was absolutely necessary, I could be there. ;)

Good Afternoon!

And I really can't believe just how wonderful this whole long-weekend excursion has turned out to be. I mean, I had a great time in Chicago, and this train ride so far today has been, as Seth Rudetsky would say, HIGH-LARIOUS!

Hello, everyone.

DF&H#2 and I had a very good Mexican dinner last night. I just don't eat big meals like that much anymore. He is very good at picking restaurants and has introduced me to quite a few good ones.
