Where is everyone?  Have they taken umbrage?

Nope! It's all locked up safe and sound!

You may think you know where the lockbox is kept, but that's a closely guarded secret known only to me, Tipper and the Joint Chiefs of Staff.   ;D

I finished all of the various featurettes and bonus items on the GOOD, BAD, UGLY Blu-ray. I knew NOTHING about the Silbey campaign during the Civil War, so that was a very interesting documentary.

Next I put in the Blu-ray of SWEENEY TODD which I just bought for myself off Ebay for a very low price. All of the compression issues I found with the DVD of the movie (which otherwise looked very good indeed) are put to rest in this wonderful Blu-ray rendering. I thoroughly enjoyed seeing it again.

After that finished, I watched last week's episode of THE FASHION SHOW. (This week's episode will be watched probably on Sunday while I eat lunch.) I completely agreed with who was eliminated. Her cocktail dress was abominable.

Thanks Vixmom.  Last report David is doing well

I am glad to hear it ,  Were they able to perform the operation laproscopically ?(I am sure I spelled that wrong!)

Yes, I'm sure they were, the actual removal of the gall bladder only lasted a matter of minutes

NBC, PLEASE get rid of the Sammy and Tami characters next season!

Not to mention that annoying guy who does all the NBC promos.  :)

I'm heading downstairs now to bed. I think I'll be mowing the backyard tomorrow morning if it's cool enough and not too wet back there.

I was thinking it was that time of year for all of our batfriends to come out.

I could not get through either LOVE STORY 2050 or DETECTIVE BUREAU 2-3.

LOVE STORY 2050 was indeed just as bad as the reviews said it was and Harman Bewaja (in his first film role) was a very annoying actor

So instead I am going to finish reading a magazine and hit the hay!

Good Evening!

When I headed out earlier, I really wasn't sure what I wanted to do, or where exactly I wanted to go, nor what I wanted to eat.  Well, I started walking over to Broadway...

I bought two tamales (one pork, one chicken - "spicy") from Maria's cart on the corner of Broadway and 145th, then hopped on the 1 train downtown. -And proceeded to consume said tamales during the train ride down to 72nd.

At 72nd, I started walking back uptown.  Well, I started walking toward the Van Leeuwen Artisan Ice Cream Truck. :)

Then I just kept walking uptown until I was back home.  It was - and still is - a beautiful night out there.  Along the way, I saw many a familiar face; noticed a few closed storefronts, as well as some new ones.  And I smiled. A lot.

:)

Monkey looks glad to be home.

I am using DR JOSE's zipline photo as my screensaver.

HMMMMMMMMM......wonder if Ryan Raftery pays more attention to the director of UGLY BETTY than he did the director of WHAT IF??

-Monkey is.

-I'm flattered.

It's funny how Tom arrives on the East Coast before it arrives in Tumwater.  Weird.
