I'm not a nail biter, but I have a bad habit of peeling off cuticles and pulling off hang nails.

DR Sandra will be interested in the gazpacho recipe.

Actually, once DR Sandra gets hold of a nacho hat, she'll forget all about gazpacho.

Well that's what I think, too, DR DAW.  But what are our opinions against those of the rest of the world?

Okay. Off to the East Side.

DR elmore - I hope the rain "cooperates" with your commute to and from the East Side today.

No, alas, it was totally hellish. I got on the bus that was already packed at 79th and Amsterdam, rode over to transfer to the Lexington Avenue bus, also packed, discovered my watch battery had died and it was always going to be 9:15 today when I would guess was it was around 9:50, got off the bus to a torrential downpour and wandered around LExingron and 55th Street, hoping a jewelry shop could replace the battery. Couldn't find one.

I got to the office around 10:20, soaking wet and extremely crabby. I found today an incomplete libretto for libretto, an incompete vocal score to SWEET ADELINE, and an incomplete copy of the Overture to Gershwin's PRIMROSE with my orchestrated fill-ins. I stopped at the jeweler at 86th and Broadway on my way back for a new watch battery so I now know what time it is. I got back here, soaked in a hot tub, and I'm going to have some chicken soup.

Because then YOU CAN'T TAKE IT WITH YOU would be a very tiresome play.

DR JENNIFER thanks for the TRUE BLOOD vs. TWILIGHT info yesterday.  I am still debating.

FYI, GOJIRA is being released on Blue Ray very soon, I hear.

DR JRand58, it was my pleasure. The books a real rag; I enjoyed it immensely with its numerous faults. The writer sure hates a lot of celebrities on Broadwqay and Hollywood. I'm wondering if the songwriting team is based on Jones and Schmidt since they're clearly doing Julius Monk revues, but he really kicks Mary Rodgers around.

This is VERY VERY true.  I always am amused by the fact that Penny becomes a playwright because a typewriter is delivered to the house by mistake one day.

Do you think that one day a piano was delivered by mistake to Marvin Hamlisch's house?

But then, Mikey, you would feel the need to own a Blue-Ray player which you can't afford because of all those $1.00 Nadir DVDs you buy at the Piggly-Wiggly.

Now you know: it's really about DRsingdaw and me and should have been titled THE TROLL AND THE GOBLIN, but one of us had sex with the writer.

So, in retaliation, one of the chapters in my memoirs will be about the Oberlin Baritone who was such a Troll they built a bridge over him.
