We are in out busiest season of the year for real estate ... right after school ends and just before everyone wants to take vacation

On top of that the experiennced paralegal that was hired while I was out sick got sick of teh hours and quit - so the other experienced woman and I have been working 14+ hour days

I get into the office beteen 6;30 and 7:30 and often do not leave until (9 or 10 at night - when I get home I just go to sleep

the boss has hired 2 otehr ladies but they are still training (and guess who is trainingthem!) so they are not really helping alleiviate the workload at the moment

I feel absolutely terrible that not only was I unanble to get into the city to see Ginny & Richard on their visit - I didn't even have the time to call and say "Hi!" or get online and say "howdy!"

Friday the boss let us go at 3;30 ...since Vixdad was out for the evening I took the Vixter and her best friend out for some fun hanging out time

we went to Dave and Busters where we played a lot of games them we walked over to a pizza parlor in the same shopping center and had pizza on the veranda for dinner.

AS we walking back we noticed a new restaurant in the shopping center complete with GRAND OPENING banners

We decided to have shakes as dessert... I had the heathbar shake, Vixter had teh chocolate covered pretzel shake and Vixbestfriend had the brownie batter shake (hers was the best one!)

Tonight we took Vixdad there and had dinner - the burgers are really good too!

(and Jane they have veggie burgers and portobello mushroom "burgers" as well as salads)

According to my friend Bert Michaels, who was in the film, Tucker Smith dubbed Tamblyn's singing!

This information is also in the making of documentary on the last special edition DVD release of WEST SIDE STORY.

bk - Just a reminder: The Michael Jackson Memorial takes place at the Staples Center on Tuesday. It would probably be best not to drive anywhere near downtown that day.

*And I'm still can't believe - although, I can - that some of the news channels will be having "All Day Coverage" of the Michael Jackson Memorial. Umm... What about North Korea? Afghanistan? Iran? Iraq? The U.S. Economy? $:-\$

I watched FIVE LITTLE PIGS when I went back down. Just love this mystery. It's a murder in retrospect story (Christie's first and best), and the cast is just wonderful. There was also a gay character in the mix.
