Quick questions to anyone

I need a list a plays where the title character does not appear.

Please add to the three below if one can

Waiting For Godot
Waiting For Lefty
Susan and God (Susan does, but God doesn't)

Was REBECCA ever made into a play?

I am asking these questions because this info will be used in the play I am working on

The actor I am working with is really good. I am getting good vibes that the play is going to work out

More to come

DR Michael S - If you need the "rules", couldn't you just contact your regional Equity office and ask for a copy of the Handbook? Or if you happen to know someone who runs a theater in your area, get one from them?

I watched a couple of gay-themed movies tonight.

I began with SHELTER which has been sitting on the to-watch pile for quite some time. It was OK. Sweet performances but a ho-hum story.

DR Michael - Additionally - if you are looking for the Equity requirements for your play - the "rules" vary somewhat, sometimes drastically, from "Production" (Broadway), to "Tour" (which has something like 8 tiers now), "LORT", "SPT, and "Guest Artist".

Then I rewatched THIRD MAN OUT, the first of the Donald Strachey movies. Its plot wasn't as good as the second and third films in the series, but Don and Tim had much more intimate encounters in the first film than in the subsequent ones.

Next I skimmed through today's ONE LIFE TO LIVE. Nothing of interest there.

I looked at the TV box sets that I had yet to crack the cellophane on, and my eye fell on Season One of VERONICA MARS. I never watched the entirety of season one. I only watched the few episodes CBS ran during the summer after its first season, so most of these episodes are going to be brand new. Yes, I know the answers to who killed Lily Kane and who date-raped Veronica, but each episode also contains self-contained mysteries for the episode, and those will be fun to solve with Veronica.

I watched the pilot tonight which showed me how she made such tight friends with Wallace and Weevil. And found out out her disappearing mother. Very memorable pilot.

Looks like I'll be watching VERONICA MARS over the next weeks as long as I have some free time.

However, I didn't want to speed through the episodes too fast, so instead of watching another one, I flipped on the cable box and ERIN BROCKOVICH was on Encore, so I watched about 40 minutes of it. One of these days, I need to take the DVD off the shelf and rewatch the whole thing.

I actually need to start winding down myself.  I meeting a friend for a late-ish morning, and then I'll be showing my cousin, Christine, around New York City for a couple of hours. I'm looking forward to the reunion!

Goodnight.

Must go down and check on the 2nd car parked on the street now that it's cool enough to go outside.

Summer heat and smog are here in LA.  The moon has been so beautiful the last couple of days.

After reading Jose's posts, I would really hate to see The Nudie Musical get lost with all that is going on in NY in October.   It's so much fun to see, it deserves sold out shows.

Hmmmmm, I will theorize that the question is whether you want to attract sold-out houses or important regional theatre people from around the country.  If you can schedule it around NAMT (see dates at namt.org), you stand a better chance of snagging some influential people in your audience who would otherwise not be in town - even though you run the risk of not having  a full full house.

I find it so nauseating that we've had no posts in two hours that I feel like vomiting on the ground.  I shan't, but I feel like it.  What our are lurkers supposed to do around here without pithy postings to be read?
