Back from smoothing out some edits, adding credits, and now she'll finalize everything and I'll make some copies.

You should have let him cross the road and answered that question once and for all.

I was thinking the same thing!

TOD:  One of my guiltiest pleasures is Riz Ortolani's "The Yellow Rolls-Royce".  I'd love for that to be on CD one day.

That's a great score!

Haven't bits and pieces of that been included on one of the CDs in that "Nuovo Cinema Italiano" series?  -At least I think that's what it's called.

Also committed to a date, Aug 19th, to scatter my dad's ashes at sea.  His friend Wolfgang, insisted we take his sailboat to the islands off the coast.   I forgot that my dad had won lst place in a photo contest for underwater photography during his scuba diving days.  Maybe I'll find that in one of the boxes too.

There also seems to be a memorial dinner at the Old Vienna Restaurant in Ventura tomorrow night, the drive is too long for me on a work night.  I would be the only non German speaking person there.  That's no fun.

I'll take rain any day.  When the front door is open, you can hear the fountain in the lobby.  If I close my eyes it reminds me of the waterfalls at June Lake Loop.

Not to my knowledge.  There have been recordings of "Forget Domani" and "Now and Then", both rather beautiful songs introduced in the film, but nothing from the score itself that I know of.

It's a beautiful score.

I miss summer showers and thunderstorms.   We don't get those in the Bay Area.  Seldom do we get thunder and even more rarely do we see lightning.  I love the smell in the air when a shower is approaching.  And,  of course, I love the air following a rainfall.

Finished listening to the rough of the new Kritzerland release.  It sounds very good, save for one track - I'll see what I want to do about that and where it fits in the film.  Since it features no new music at all, just a repeat of the main theme, I may just delete it.  He also put a ton of source music on the CD, and I'm deleting most of that and just making one or two short bridging tracks out of them.

TOD:

I cannot think of any albums at the moment, that I would like to see Kritzerland release...however....I would love too see CD releases of the soundtracks to any of the old Allied Artists or United Artists B movies....they all had swell music....HOT CAR GIRL, HOT CARS, DRAGSTRIP RIOT, VOODOO ISLAND, THE CRUEL TOWER, TEENAGE DOLL, UNWED MOTHER, etc. etc, etc.

I think I had mentioned before that they would make some grand double feature CDs.

And since those would all be owned by Warner Bros...well...it is at least a possibility.
