Tonight I had some very fresh eggplant.  I picked it from the garden at 5:00 PM and ate it at 5:30 PM.   It was yummy...very flavorful

I have spent the entire day slogging through a database for my part time job, which is drawing toward its conclusion.

I think I had the best day. I went looking for crawdads. And butterflies.

We''re home!!!

You'll never guess what I saw from the taxi that took us out to Midway Airport to retrieve our car:  this big blue body of water to the east of Chicago.  I think it's called Lake Michigan!

The driver went down Lakeshore Drive to the expressway (I-55?).  So I guess I'll have to update my Facebook status.

Is this Dr. Graham Walker?

Or is this his 12 year old son?

I had a doctor once who looked like an Eagle Scout to me, he was so young.

And when did the doctors get to be young enough to be our sons?

Sounds great.  I'm eating a few days old, almost fresh, zucchini & squash sautéed in onions and tossed with an eggplant tomato sauce.  I cheated on the sauce & got it out of a jar.  It is organic ;)

Thanks so much to everyone for the travel vibes and for the vibes for Richard's brother.  No news on that front since we heard about the postponement.

Good Evening!

Hmmm... Theses "Horchata Pebbles" from papabubble* are really good.  Lovin' the cinnamon.

Just sayin'.

*Their website is very "high concept". Just keep clicking on the candy shapes if you so desire.

I gave DR elmore a call a little while ago.  He's still in a bit of pain and discomfort, but he's hanging in there.  I may have to don my nurse whites tomorrow if needed. ;)

So, the printer repair company just emailed me to inform us that they are canceling our service contract because the printer is too expensive to repair.

Since both teeth and gums were very sore, I decided to go see Up.  What a wonderful movie - another Pixar winner, and completely unlike anything they've done before.

Is that legal?  Are they refunding any money?

I've been watching the Two's Company video's.

The audience had such a good time that night.  The ambiance was just wonderful.

Unfortunately I invited someone who insisted we leave exactly after the show was over.  I did not want to leave.

Hi Sam.

Jane, they are giving us notice they are canceling the contract. The offer for a new machine they made today is MUCH better than the offer they made in November.

I've decided to move again at the end of my lease.  The rents have come down in other buildings. I might be able to save as much as $300 a month by December.  I know it's because the economy sucks.
Vacancy's here are renting for less than what I'm paying, and I've only been here 8 months.  Also the tenant's that have complained are not getting a reduction in rent,  the managent would rather risk us leaving.  They are stupid, stupid, stupid.  (I hear Cason's voice saying that).
