I like DR JMK's phrase "personal Hell Day." I can relate to that!

I've been enjoying SHOW GIRL. I'm not a Carol Channing fan, but the music speaks for itself.

Well, at least I slept until nine-fifteen - that felt good, but I was having very weird dreams.

I've already decided to stick with the first season of Lost and figured Mr. Bender would be along for the ride.  Did J.J. Abrams at least stay with this series for a while?  That's what happened on Alias - he left after season two, I think, and that show, despite an occasional good episode, really went to hell.

They're having a contest over at Twitter on the best alternate first words for man on the moon.

My favorite so far:   "I thought you brought the flag!"         ;D

Good Morning! Good Afternoon!

I'm up, I'm up... And, actually, I've been up for a while, if not out of bed.  It was another "NPR Morning" for me: "Weekend Edition - Sunday", "Studio 360", then "Wait, Wait Don't Tell Me!"...  And now "La Sonnambula" on WNET...

Who knew that Public Radio and PBS could be such a time-suck? ;)

Oh, and I did get out of bed after "Wait, Wait Don't Tell Me!" - although, I did laze just a tad longer to hear Tierney Sutton's cover of "Happy Talk" on Jonathan Schwartz's show.  Swingin'!

On TV TOnight!™

CBS - 60 MINUTES, BIG BROTHER 11
NBC - MERLIN, METEOR (conclusion)
PBS - THEY DO IT WITH MIRRORS (Miss Marple)
HBO - TRUE BLOOD, HUNG, ENTOURAGE
USA - LAW & ORDER: CRIMINAL INTENT, IN PLAIN SIGHT

Isn't there a Walter Cronkite special this evening on CBS, or is that on 60 MINUTES?

Forgive my ignorance, but can someone give me some basic information on ipods and MP3 players?  Starting with maybe the difference between them?  The preferred over the not so good.  Stuff like that!

Don't know about mp3 players, but if you have a Mac you definitely want an iPod - incredibly easy to use, synchs with iTunes, and lots of fun.

Regardless of whether you choose an iPod or another portable music player, it's the headphones/ear-buds that seem to make or break the whole "experience". Sadly, the default ones for the iPod kind of suck.  If you're serious about your listening, then just know that you'll probably want to invest in a good set of headphones or earbuds.  In any case...

iPods can play MP3s, but not all MP3 players can play iTunes compatible files...

Well... On second thought, here's CNET's MP3 Player Buying Guide.
