Does anyone have a good marinara or spaghetti sauce recipe I can make from fresh tomatoes and freeze? I have a ton of tomatoes and have been eating them in many different ways. I'd like to freeze a basic sauce I can use later

Just keep it nice and simple:

-Sauté an onion (chopped) and some garlic in some olive oil.  -Keep the garlic in slices, unless you want a lot of garlic flavor in your sauce, then mince it.
-Slice and/or crush the tomatoes, and add them to the pan.  -If you have a vegetable mill/ricer, that will help de-seed the tomatoes.  Personally, I don't mind seeds in my fresh tomato sauce, but I know they can sometimes contribute a hint of bitterness to the finished sauce.
-Simmer for anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour - or longer.  -Just depends how juicy the tomatoes are.  Just cook down the sauce until it gets down to your desired thickness.

*If you cook everything first, then run the sauce through a food mill/ricer/strainer, then that will not only take care of the seeds, but also the skins.

Well, it's been sort of a long day for me, and I really do want to try to get an early start tomorrow/later today. So...

Goodnight.

Do they perform an autopsy on everyone who dies? Or are some bodies just prepared for burial (embalmed) after they die? -Without further examination to determine the cause of death.

Generally, if a person dies while under the care of a Physician, and he/she signs the death certificate for "death by natural causes", no autopsy is required. In all other cases, the coroner requires an autopsy to certify a cause of death. In cases of hospital patients who die of presumed natural causes, the Doctors may ask permission of next of kin for an autopsy for research purposes.

Tom Wopat is in it.

That's a compelling reason.

And I assume that Mikey is the reason that Tom Wopat agreed to come to Seattle!

I believe it's the reason Tom Wopat did not come to Portland.  :)

Thanks DR Mitzi.   I'll try that.  I don't have a ricer, but I have several strainers that may do the trick

I only have one interesting post.

As I was taking my walk to check on the other car around the block.  I hear young girls screaming and in turning the corner I see a boy holding what looked like a tire iron above 2 girls kneeling and screaming.   So I yelled, what are you doing, which scared them and made another 6 kids come running over.

Seems the neighborhood game is some version of Freddie or Pinhead or something, anyway after a few choice insults thrown my way I insisted to talk to a parent.

6 blocks later, at a parents house, 2 adult women come out to talk to me.  I told them what I saw. They tried  to explain it's only a game.   I told them that it's l0PM at night, and if that's the kind of game they let their kids play, do it on their own block.   Not 6 blocks away where no one knows what the h-ll is going on.

P.S. I think a couple of those kids need a whooping.

Just my opinion.

Hmmm...

George installs an openable skylight in his bedroom with only a small screen protecting him from alien invasion - and now he seems to be missing in action.

Coincidence -I think not!

FREE GEORGE!
