As a pack rat, I'm afraid I have quite a few things from my school years. I have all my school pictures. I have all my report cards. I have all high school yearbooks (we didn't have them in junior high), high school diploma, graduation program, four years of school newspapers (I wrote for the paper and was feature editor my senior year), etc.

I'm going to continue writing for a little while. Then, I expect best friend John will be calling about lunch plans.

Dear DRs, we received word about an hour ago that Richard's brother John passed away at 9:15 this morning.

I'm up - it's very overcast today.  No time to do the jog, so I'll probably do it after the dentist, depending on how I feel.

I think I had weird dreams - not bad, just weird, but I can't quite remember what was going on in them.  Oh, yeah, one was about Kevin Spirtas doing an act with Reba McIntyre - and they'd brought me in to talk.  I think Kevin kept morphing into Brent Barrett, and Reba was having vocal problems and suggested doing a Disney medley, which I thought was a good idea - then she said she was joking.  I said I still thought it was a good idea.

Well, I just got the word from my doctor that my MRI will be done at 5 tomorrow afternoon. At least that's scheduled now.

That would just perk me right up! I hope it does the same for you. At least there's a good chance of discovering the problem.

I have a couple of boxes of old school stuff, mostly from high school and college, but some stuff going back to grade school days...old class photos, wallet-size snaps of friends when you traded school pictures, programs of school events, old school newspapers, high school yearbooks, the tassel off my graduate cap, etc.  I also have a great many of my papers, projects, and school notebooks, from both high school and college.  I have frequently referred back to my theatre and English notebooks.  I also a wooden car I made in Kindergarten and a pot holder in grade school.  I used to have the pump lamp I made in shop until it stopped working..

Either one of them with Reba works for me! I had some weird dream about a Shakespeare exam and paper on MERCHANT OF VENICE last night. And that reminds me that when I worked at Drama Book Shop, I had an order one day for 50 copies of THE MERCHANT OF VENUS!

I'm at Toyland so I have to do some work now. Ta!

DAW, mostly I did depositions in lawyers' offices. I did bankruptcy court a lot, too. The court would pay for my appearance fee, but the lawyers who ordered transcripts didn't always pay.

When I had jury duty last year, one of the questions the judge asked was about whether any of us had worked and not been paid. I raised my hand and explained. I could see the judge and lawyers looking at me and trying to determine if they recognized me and owed me money.

I'm actually in surprisingly little pain, despite not having taken a Percoset for well over a day.  So I'm hopeful.

Also, DR JMK, in my absorption with our family situation here, I was remiss over the weekend to congratulate your family on your son's bar mitzvah.  You and Betsy must be very proud.

Don't be silly about being "remiss," Ginny, but thanks--now Gabe has a passel of thank you notes to write, LOL.

Did I forget to wish SWW Happy Birthday?

Happy Birthday, SWW!

DR Elmore - sorry I missed your call, but I'm glad you had a chance to talk to Richard.

Our cell phones seemed to be in different time zones. It was kind of like a time delay situation. It waas good to talk to him. I'm sorry I missed you.

On another note, the McGlinn memorial made Broadway World today:
