Back from MRI-land. If I hadn't been in pain, it would have been a breeze.

However, if I hadn't been in pain, I likely wouldn't have needed an MRI.

I did watch last night's RAISING THE BAR while I ate a slight lunch. Good episode with a heartbreaking result for one of the cases.

Since I started lunch so early, I also watched next week's season finale of NURSE JACKIE. Wow! What a way to end the season!

Then I watched today's work project - ADVENTURELAND on Blu-ray. Made by the same director as SUPERBAD, another reminiscence of a turning point in one's life. Not all that funny and not all that dramatic. Very mediocre.

A couple of days, she said.

I had time to get all of the bonus features watched, too. Not much there of interest either.

Before I got picked up for the MRI, I had time to skim through two soaps: Y&R had nothing of interest.

OLTL continued very wonderfully with the Kyle-Fish story. I'm really enjoying what's going on here.

I have nothing to say today, except that Jane and the kittens get spayed/neutered on Friday. Then they will go to adoptions on Saturday.

Will there be one last video, maybe some photos?

You young MTV-educated whippersnappers

I've never watched MTV.         ;)

And even if I had, I wouldn't consider myself educated.   Or even edified.         :D

Hey, wait a minute!  MTV is my only national television exposure.

Do you all remember my handyman George? He came through his eye operation fine but he cannot do any work for another week. Please send him some vibes for a speedy recovery so I can get him in here ASAP to hook these bookcases up to the wall. My apartment is in chaos until then and i will stop coping in about 3 days of this madness.

Oh, good...I'm glad to see you've got only George's interests at heart.

;D

I just did a video a few minutes ago. I'll have to see if I can get them to calm down for a final portrait series.

That is good news otherwise it would have been much worse.  Did you take any medication to relax you or help with the pain before the MRI?

DR elmore - :)

So - and you may not be able to discuss this publicly, but... Does part of your McGlinnventory duties include returning certain materials to their original (rightful?) owners?

Yep.

Oh good!  That SWEENEY TODD score is mine!

:)  Yes, calm for still photos, active for video works best.

DR MattH - ADVENTURELAND was shot here in the 'burgh!
How does Kennywood Park look on film?
I'd heard so many mixed things about the film itself that  I decided to wait until it reached home video to see it.

I did, but even the Vicodin has minimal effect on the pain when the arm is put in certain positions. Anyway, it's over now, and I'm grateful to have gotten through it.

The park looks great. Brought back lots of memories about amusement parks from "my era."(Looks much worse in the bonus features).

I'm going to try to write up today's work project. If my arm gets too weary, I'll just save the rest until later/tomorrow.

WBBL (maybe).

I know.  Half way through my first one the pain overwhelmed the mild tranquilizer I took.

Vibes they find an easy fix!
